High density foam panels but low quality sound dampening.
So if you're looking for good quality acoustic panels for a cheap price. I've recently have tried two different types from Amazon for around the same price one of them is this exact one here and another one being from another sellerThe quality of these here panels seems to be very high quality at first. The foam feels dense and thick my first impression was that this would do a better job than my previous purchase. they have a little bit more weight to them and overall feel better quality. But if you're interested in purchasing acoustic foam or sound dampening foam what really matters is how does it work compared to others and how well does it actually dampen sound. This is when I decided to test it against the previous brand that I bought from another seller. What I expected to see wasn't exactly what I saw. The sound dampening properties of this foam panels is not nearly as good as my previous purchase of foam panels which really surprised me due to the overall appearance and feel compare to my previous which felt overall sort of cheap. Comparing these to my previous set of foam panels these here do near nothing as far as sound dampening where my previous set of panels would reduce about 50% of overall sound. So if you're interested in acoustic panels for a fairly cheap price I wouldn't personally recommend these only due to the very little difference they make and the amount of them that you will be needing anyway. I personally returned all the panels that I bought of this type from this seller. If you're looking for good acoustic panels for about the same price I would highly recommend these here (12 Pack- Ice Blue/Charcoal Acoustic Panels Studio Foam Wedges 1" X 12" X 12") from this seller they cost about a dollar more but don't be fooled by the first impression of the quality of them. They do feel a little cheap but when it comes to their sound dampening properties they are very impressive for the price point.

Great product for the money that works very well
After reading dozens of reviews of acoustic tiles similar to these, I finally went with this one. I'm glad I did. Some reviews lamented how thin their tiles actually were...these are not thin. There's at least a half-inch of foam between the low point of the "V" and the bottom of the tile. They cut easily to custom shape for your setup and definitely keep the sound in the room from reverberating. Remember that these are NOT soundproofing tiles...they just deaden audio inside the room so there's no echo. I mounted mine by putting blue painter's tape on the wall, then hot-gluing the tiles to the tape (so as to not damage the wall). They hold up great. At one point, I accidentally knocked one loose and there was little to no damage to the underside of the tile from the glue. I'll certainly be able to reuse these should we move and I want to take the tiles with me. Glad I went with these!

Great foam panels at a great price!
These panels are awesome! As a musician and music producer, I've spent a lot of money on room treatment products to keep my studio sonically tight. Once in a while, you realize you need a little extra treatment for a vocal booth, amp room, or just additional wall treatment to flatten out some pesky reflections. This product does just that, and at a much better price and quality than competitors. I've bought similar panels for 3X as much and I do not believe that this product lacks in quality. This material will not be useful for bass traps, but will be effective for general room echoes/reflections for small to medium sized spaces. Overall, this was a great purchase and I will likely buy again. Some specifics - the materials arrived perfectly boxed and stacked together without any defects. They are the correct dimensions posted on the product page. The color advertised is also correct.

Sound padding + Decoration!
Great quality! Just bought a second set from the seller. I used the first set for my studio and really liked the look of the 12 panels together so I purchased a second set to stick over my bed to accent the wall. I usually don't place anything above my bed for decoration since I don't want some giant heavy painting to fall on my face but I don't mind these foam panels since they're light as a feather and stick strongly to the wall (using Command picture hanging strips).Thank you to the seller for offering such a quality product! Yay for capitalism and voluntary trade! (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧**Note, just be careful to layout the foam panels in the design you want on the floor, before you stick them to the wall. These tiles are NOT perfect squares.

Smelly, but beautiful and functional. Here's the best way to mount:
HOW TO MOUNT without doing damage to the walls: Stick strips of blue painters tape (the wider the better) on the wall, then put strips/globs of thick glue (we used a silicone-based sealant/adhesive) over the blue tape. Then place the acoustic foam panels on top, and hold in place for a few seconds. These panels seems to do a great job, although we've been avoiding the room with them up as much as possible while the smell dissipates. It's been a few days, and we've kept the windows open, but I suppose that's unavoidable with foam (which is probably sealed soon after being formed). Also, several of the corners were bent/curved in from the plastic packaging, which was quite tight, so the corners don't meet perfectly, but we stuck tiny strips of spare panel in the gaps.

Had a problem with outside noise
I constructed a barrier and placed it against my bedroom windows, which face a dance club at the end of my block. While nothing (save a lead wall) can possibly eliminate all the noise on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday night, these panels do make it better, for me at least. I read the reviews which said these panels do not block outside noise, but it helped me (I was desperate). I glued mine to poster board, waited for glue to dry, then pressed it into the window frame -- I have pull-down shades so the panels are not visible from the street and I also have black-out curtains (which has minimal noise proofing) so you can't see them from inside. These were a win for me.
