Great product!
I have waited several months before writing this review. We live in Georgia and the summers are hot, hot, hot! We built a new deck on our house and had planned to put a tin roof on it. Well we ran out of time and money so we were looking for a good alternative. Started researching and looking at these sun shades. I found some for about $15 at a grocery store chain and figured we would try them to start with. They worked great in the beginning and then it RAINED, a LOT. And the shade almost touched the ground from holding all the water! And it never regained it's shape after that. These shades finally came in and were made out of a totally different material, more of a plastic mesh. My husband hung them up with no problem and they have been up for about 3 months now. We have had lots of rain at times and it goes through the material so no sagging! They really keep the sun off and you can feel the temperature change when under them. We will be purchasing a few more in the future to cover the rest of the area. We did have a little trouble getting them as quickly as we would have liked but once I emailed the company I had them in about a week.

Love these Shade Sails
I love this Shade Sail. The color is gorgeous. It looks great over my deck and pool I actually cut it in 2 pieces and sewed new webbing and D rings to create 2 sails. I couldn't be happier with the end result. So far they have held up in rain and low winds. I can easily drop them if a big storm is coming. They provide much needed shade for my grandbabies to swim or play in shade.

Have had Sails up for yrs and getting a few more
Yrs ago I got sails to go over a back deck that gets all the afternoon sun. It works great for shading the deck and my back windows which keels my house cooler in the summer. I would highly recommend using the Sail hardware kits. It makes it easy to adjust and stretch the sail. After its been in the heat for a while it will stretch out and with the kit u can just do a few turns of the hook extender and its tight once again, We put ours up in the spring and take it down in the fall and they are 6 yrs old and still in great condition. They will move with the wind and if you get high wind and the sail lifts up if not attached to proper support poles or into a structure that can withstand the pressure it could cause damage to the structure or lift the support poles out of the ground. One side of ours is attached to the house into support beam and then we put in 6x6 treated lumber for support poles. it is out of the ground 12 feet and sunk in the ground 4 feet in concrete. before we put them in the ground we put heavy rods through the timber going in the ground in different directions then put the pole in the ground and filled hole with concrete. The Poles have never moved even in 70 mph winds and sails attached.

Absolutely awesome!
Not only did this provide a new sense of shade for the pool and other areas of my backyard, it gave my pets some shade from the UV rays as well as a cool spot to relax.

Save a skin cancer patients summer with her little ones.
This saved our summer!!!! Provides amazing shade and is very visually appealing. Looks great over our sand box. Allow for some stretch but we got a 16 x 16 sail for our 16 x16 sand box and it's perfect.

10x10 in red for those sunny days
Great the product I bought the 10 by 10 and I used paracord to strap it to the corners of the poles I have outside and it looks great and for the price it's a great deal. I ordered one a while ago and it had a small tear when it arrived in the middle but the company promptly did a return authorization and I ordered another one. This is now my third one as we have a big backyard and lots of area to shade. You want to make sure to order a small enough one so you can pull the corners tight. It came with hardware and rope but I did not use any of it. It has metal rings attached to the corners that I attached the Paracord to.

Will not last ...
We love it! Securing it was an experiment, but galvanized fence posts strapped to the 4x4 posts in our fence corners worked perfectly: that wasn't the first attempt. This baby gets heavy when wet so we had to over engineer a bit for the Florida showers. Tie down ratchet straps make it easy to tighten as it stretches over time. The other side is hooked onto lag bolts directly in the house eaves. It is the only way the deck is usable some days in the 90+ heat and baking sun.Feb 2016 - 2 days if high winds were the death of the shade. The material had started tearing from the seam in one corner a few months ago. The wind gusts this week caused it to fail complete and the edge seam ripped. With one corner loose the shade tore along the edge seam down two sides. I'm looking for one made from high density polyester now.July 2017 - I ended up buying another one of these last March and it is tearing at the corners again. I cannot recommend these after 2 failing within 2 years.
