Harris Bipod HB25CS

Very well built. I put this on a Browning X-bolt 30-06 for a trip out west. It’s a sturdy bipod that I can see lasting a long time. I have not used a competitor bipod so I can’t compare it. I like the fact you can remove it and put it on another gun if needed.

It's a Harris bipod, built like a tank. What's not to like.

One website described this as for only very tall people, and that is what needs to be emphasized. The low position puts the rifle forearm about 13 inches off the ground, the middle position 19 or 20.5 inches (depending on if the bottom segment is extended or the middle segment is extended) and high position 26.5” off the ground. It is a quality product. Three segments to each leg giving it a low, middle, and high setting. I am 5’8”, and if had read “only for tall people” would not have purchased it. The legs of the bipod are a little longer than the muzzle of my rifle (22” barrel) when they are folded up, making me hesitate to shoot the gun unless the legs are down. In the low position I can shoot prone, in the middle position I can shoot sitting, and cannot use the bipod in the fully extended high position because it sots so high on my shoulder. You pull the legs open and a release will cause spring tension to snap the legs back into the collapsed position. There is a knob that will adjust the position between the top amd middle segment, but takes some time to adjust. The bipod would be well suited to hunting, where you could deploy quickly to anprone position, amd almost as quickly to a sitting position. I am buying the next size down and replacing this one.

Great Bipod, built strong and made to last. Great for shooting while sitting or at one knee!
