Original Putting Alley

I’ve tried most of the training aids for putting and this one gave me instant improvement. The frustration in keeping the ball on the putting line is so intense that it forces you to focus on aim, tempo and putting stoke. I use the advanced setting. My routine, now, is to keep trying to get the ball in the circle until I can do three in a row (and that is not easy!). One draw back is that it’s a little hard to put the ball back on the tee area with your putter (the ball slips and slides a little before finally resting properly). It can be a little boring too, but it’s purpose is to improve your stroke and aim, which it will, and not to “entertain” you. Basically a great easy to use putting aid.

This is the best putting training aid I have used. You can divide up putting into three components: putting stroke, green reading and distance control. This device will help you with your putting stroke, resulting in a consistent contact on the putter surface. Due to that, you will also notice that you get better distance control. I have been using this device for 2 weeks now and my putting has improved dramatically. I went from 36 putts per round to 31-32 putts in the last two rounds. Very impressive indeed !!!

Purchased as a gift, but I tried it. I think it will be a great indoor practice aid, especially if you make a game of it. Also can be used outside as a pre-round warmup.

Bought for my son who is on golf team. I thought you could stand several feet away and practice putting. Nope - have to place the ball in the vee at the end of the device and then putt. Your golf ball hops to the side otherwise. Awful. Waste of money.

This is a excellent putting trainer. You don't have to plug it in or worry about that fake grass stuff pushing your putts or being inconsistent. I literally dropped the thing down on my basement floor and started to practice. It's very humbling so get ready to be humbled but also get ready to improve your putting. I haven't putted on a real green since I received the Putting Alley (due to the several feet of snow we've received) but I can't wait to get out and see how much this has improved my game. I'm a 10-15 handicapper and I'm guessing it will save me 2 strokes per nine on average.

I found that my putting improved almost immediately. My 1-putt percentage probably hasn't increased by much because I generally hit such lousy approaches that I'm usually left with long first putts. But my short putts (my second putts) have become almost automatic after using this thing just a few times. I find myself visualizing my REAL short putts as if I'm standing over this practice device. At that distance, starting the putt online is paramount. The Original Putting Alley has demonstrably helped me in that department!

Outstanding practice tool

I did not buy on Amazon which was a mistake because I ended up buying other things I didn't need. That being said, I played 18 on Saturday, I had no 3 putts and I had 8 one putts. The device showed me that I was aiming left and not really at the hole. (or where I think I am aiming) Now I line up as usual and move my putter head a minor amount to the right and bingo the ball gets to the hole. (or right next to it) I made the dreaded 3.5 footer to over 20 footer. I have had it for a couple of weeks, I stand over it and practice for under a minute a couple of times a day...............no attention span. If you have trouble putting BUY THIS DEVICE ON AMAZON, you will not be sorry.
