Quart 32 Oz - Sulfur Butter Creme 'n Ointment

If I could give this ointment 10 stars, I would. I've had eczema my whole life, and keeping it under control is a daily struggle. I've tried a whole host of cremes and ointments, both prescription and non-prescription, but nothing has really done the trick. I now apply this ointment several times a day to my problem areas, and it really helps keep the itching and flaking to a minimum. Smaller, less-severe patches have disappeared completely, some as quickly as within a couple of weeks.The only caveats: First, it stings horribly if it gets into your eyes, so be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after applying. Second, it turns sterling silver black, so keep that in mind if you wear sterling silver rings or other jewelry in places where it will come into contact with the sulfur butter.

WARNING THIS PRODUCT HAS CHANGED from a quality product it use to be to absolute crap now! This listing description tricks you by listing the original formula of ingredients before the drastic change of ingredients to the Sulfur Butter Creme n Ointment product. This product is no longer 10% Sulfur and in fact you don't know how little sulfur in this product now because the bottle doesn't tell you and sulfur is now listed after a ton of crappy filler chemicals just to fill up the jar/bucket. Charge more and bring back the quality product you once had! Normally with a change to the ingredients of a product the product states "NEW FORMULA" or "IMPROVED FORMULA" to give you a warning that it will not be the same. People still want quality when it comes to their health and beauty. Go back to the original formula and charge more or see a drop in sales with this chemical nightmare you guys whipped up!

It is not the product it used to be. It apparently got significantly reformulated and is not the same quality at all. Mine arrived completely separated into the dry crumbly part and the liquid oily part. No matter how much I tried to mix them back together they stayed separated. Not fun at all dealing with it. The dry part doesn't want to spread and the oily part is disgusting. I sent an email to the manufacturer inquiring about this unsightly and unsavory separation and got no response. They did respond to my question about the percentage of sulfur (the jar used to say "10% sulfur but it does not any more!). I was told that it is still "about 10%". I guess it is fine although not completely satisfying. I don't think I will be buying it any more. Too bad because I really really liked the old version!

Excellent for promotion of hair growth! My hair has grown 1-2 inches in length! This is a whipped, non-oily scalp ointment that has AMAZING ingredients. I apply once to twice a day and braid my hair. It is not heavy at all and has a light, whipped texture that, despite having 10% sulphur, blends and absorbs onto the scalp smoothly and easily.This product is a great alternative to heavy, drippy oils. Especially for those who want to use products with herbal or hair growth oils like jojoba and coconut, however, prefer not to have to shake constantly or have excessive graininess in their hair oils due to sulphur granulars which other less blend-able products typically have. This product is whipped, so it is blended perfectly for application. The quart lasts a long time, and is a great size for daily use. Despite its AMAZINGLY beneficial and simple ingredient list of: Water, cocoa, coconut, shea butter, sulfur, vegetable glycerin, hemp oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, it has a shelf life that will remain fresh and usable for an extended period of time. I highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase it.

This sulfur butter is excellent. It's expensive, but the quality is incredible. Unlike other sulfur butters, it doesn't dry out the skin excessively. I did notice a bit of dryness, but that was after I had been using it a lot!It does smell like sulfur, but what can I say? It has helped keep my skin healthy during my pregnancy -- less acne, healthier feeling skin. It has helped with eczema and it has even kept me from getting any pregnancy marks so far.

FORMULATION CHANGED IN DECEMBER 2016!! The formulation changed in December 2016. Now it no longer controls scabies or mites. This is not theory to me. I used to use this product and got 1 scabies egg tunnels every 2 weeks. Now, with the new formulation I am getting 1 new egg tunnel every 2 days, sometimes 1 new tunnel every 1 day!!!! I'm changing to a different product. I would estimate the new formulation has much more water in it. When you apply it, the volume of the cream reduces to about half of what you started with, then you feel all wet. I think they must have added some surfactant or something to suspend the water in the solution of other oils.There's no reason to pay this high price for no protection against scabies or other mites.
