Needed some better work boots as the flat soled pair of steel-toe trainers I had were beginning to cause foot problems.I bought these as I do a lot of walking on my commute but am required to wear protective footwear due to working in a warehouse/workshop.These shoes are very comfortable immediately out of the box. I switched to them and what would usually be a consistent dull aching at the end of every work day from constant walking, climbing and just generally not being able to sit, has disappeared. I haven’t been this comfortable after a 10 hour shift in a long time.My only issue with these shoes so far ( I’ve only had them for 6 days at this point) is the material. It looks and feels great, but it doesn’t handle moisture well at all it seems.Unfortunately on my first day wearing them it happened to rain, not enough to drench or even make puddles, it was just a light shower of the very fine rain that isn’t enough to soak you, just enough to make you uncomfortable.Inevitably the tops of the shoes got wet and when they did eventually dry the material has begun to crack and discolour lightly in places where creases form as I walk.This doesn’t effect the shoes from a practical standpoint, but considering the price (almost twice what you can pay for a decent pair of boots in sports direct etc) I expected a bit more quality.Overall, a great set of boots, almost perfect as far as I’m concerned, with the primary issue being simply cosmetic. If you’re just interested in having them for work, you can’t go wrong. I personally have had to wear boots as my primary type of footwear since I was about 12 due to poor genetics (I have wide feet) so I bought these to be normal footwear for everyday use so seeing them so tarnished after a touch of bad weather is a bit of a letdown.

Brilliant boots, very comfortable.

When I buy new footwear it takes me Ages and causes much pain to break stuff in.These felt fine on first fitting. I knew the next day I would be driving virtually all day with very little walking so I decided to wear them.At EOD I was aware of slight rubbing but nothing painful, so on the way home I bought new boot socks.Wore them all day today, 50% mix of walking and driving and they feel superb. Still no pain. I can't emphasize how rare this is for me.The last time I bought a pair of boots which wore okay straight out of the box was about 30 years ago !Very pleased, would recommend these boots to anyone.

I forgot id had a pair of these boots before and they didnt last that long. sadly i bought this pair and was at work when i realised my mistake but decided i had to keep them after working a day in them. They are comfortable boots out the box, all is fine apart from the very thin sole which on my first day of use i felt every stone i walked on or little piece of wood and in one case a rawl plug. its a shame really as the soles let them down bigtime. so i will keep these boots and add extra insoles to them but i am not expecting them to last long . infact the last pair i had the sole split after a few months use. we will see how these last. : UPdate, i put some insoles in these to help cushion the thin soles , sadly it made my toes rub against the caps so i had to remove them, it would have made the bots soo much better if i could have kept the insoles in so i may try thinner insoles. sadly though the soles are a problem, walking around doing outside work i can feel every stone through the sole. i cant imagine what would happen should i stand on a nail or screw, sharp objects would glide right through. last pair of these boots ill ever buy .

Good, comfortable boots , reasonable price. No leakages. Relaxed fit much more comfortable for my toes.

I had to spend more money in order to make them useable £15 insoles and new laces as the laces they come with easily come undone which makes these boots very hard to wear and very uncomfortable hence the one star. If you purchase these be aware that you may have to purchase add on products to actually use them. I personally can’t understand why a company such as sketcher would want ruin a good product with such poor insoles and laces
