Lactrase lactase dietary supplement capsules - 100 ea

I have been severally lactose intolerant for 40 years. I had tried over the counter products but none were strong enough for me even when taking 4 or 5 pills just to eat a slice of pizza. Then I found Lactrase and have been taking it for more than 25 years with great success. Now I can eat ice cream, pizza and the best part of all is not worrying about the hidden cream or butter in meals when I eat out. The one big downfall to this product is the price. When I first started taking Lactrase, it cost me $24.99. I thought that was alot but worth it. Now the price is up in the $70's. WOW!!! So I still buy it but make it last longer.

Didn't like the asking price for this product at our local big name pharmacy; we had just retired and had to be careful of where the money goes. Found it on Amazon at a better price and have gotten free shipping each time I've ordered. I am 'severe lactose intolerant', use Advair which is loaded with lactose; so finding a great product that keeps me comfortable and doesn't have to break the bank is a blessing. Adding in Digestive Advantage has really been a great combo for me.

I am glad that I purchased the Lactrase capsules..I think that they help better than the pills that you can purchase off the shelves.I find that two pills work better than just one,but everyone is different.I try to save these pills for when Im eating and having to so somewhere because they are a bit expensive,but as long as they work I will purchase them again.

This is a standardized version of the Lactase enzyme. With the cheap version that you find everywhere you don't really know the potency of the product you are getting . With this standardized version you know exactly. It's the only option for people who are severely lactose intolereant. It's getting harder and harder to find. I fear it will disapper altogether.

This product works, plain and simple. Milk products can be a problem for me, and I used to use the little chalky lactase pills that you see all over, taking five at a time, and they didn't do much. These pills, on the other hand, I take two and no more problems! I never write reviews of products, but this stuff is amazing.

Works extremely well but there are other sites that sell this product less expensively.

Product was discontinued as of July 2015 per UCB, Inc. Bummer! It was the only thing that allowed me to indulge in dairy every now and then.

I've tried all the lactase products you can buy off the shelf in drugstores - this stuff is far more effective than anything else I've tried - highly recommended and well worth paying extra for.
