I love this item! It works so well. You can put meat out on it just a few hours before dinner and it’s thawed! A kitchen must have!

Defrosting trays are so heavily favored and have become the most widespread thawing method in the kitchen. I recently got one from Maytra Inspirations and I must say that it is a great tray that offers decent size and good defrosting performance, a lot quicker from the other products that I have tried. Sleek design, high quality & value for money! The seller was very prompt in answering all my questions and the item reached me in two days. The packaging is also appealing and that makes it an excellent gift for Christmas, I am certainly purchasing Thawmax for my friends and family. This defrosting tray ticks all boxes and I am delighted!

Don't expect the advertised times unless whatever you're thawing is quite thin and perfectly flat.....but it does cut down thaw time by quite a bit. Very handy. I've used it more than a dozen times. Dishwasher safe (yay!), and seems pretty sturdy. I like it.

I really did not expect much from this when I ordered it but man it really can help speed the thawing process for you. I often decide last minute what I am cooking so it typically requires meat that is frozen in the freeze. I set it out on this for a couple of hours and it's ready to cook.

It's faster than just sitting it on the counter but slower than I thought. I was hoping it would defrost a steak in 30 to 45 minutes but it still takes a couple hours, about as fast as if you put it in a plastic bag and defrosted it in a bowl of cold water.

Thaws fast

I don’t know if it’s magic or what, but this thing works. I am always forgetting to thaw things for dinner. A friend swore by this product, so I gave it a shot. I rinse it in real hot water, put the frozen food on it, and it thaws it much, much faster—and safer—than if I just set the food on the counter to thaw. It of course won’t do a whole chicken or anything thicker that about 2”; but for chicken breasts, steak, frozen leftover pizza, hamburger patties, etc., it’s great. And if I have something thicker like a package of ground beef to thaw, after about 45 min. on one side, I’ll run it under hot water again, turn the meat over, give it another half hour or so, and I can then easily crumble the meat or even make burgers. Ditto for anything thick.

It does what it is suppose to do. Wish I would have bought the larger size.
