The media could not be loaded.  Update May 2023: tape is still working beautifully. Probably my last update! Get the tape!!! It’s still holding like the first day. Rain, sleet, snow, hail, hot scorching heat, high winds (it’s windy here), thunderstorm, tornado watches, and it still works great. Hottest day 107 F lowest-8.Update September 2022: it’s been two years and still working like a charm. I would purchase again.Original review:I read mostly the bad reviews to determine if I was going to purchase this tape or not. The main purpose was to hang my ring door bell. I needed to install on brick surface without drilling holes. I own my home, but I didn’t want to drill holes in the brick. This tape is more than what I expected. As all the other great reviewers I’ll continue to update this review as the seasons change. Currently it’s winter here in Tennesse with temperatures that drop below 0 Fahrenheit. The weather here is cold one day and hot the next. I decided that I wanted to scoot my doorbell over more once I installed it with the tape and it stuck so good I couldn’t get it off lol. I just said forget it. I read another reviewers post and he stated to stick the tape to the surface you want first and hold for at least 30 seconds. Then proceed to stick the item you want to the tape and hold for 30 seconds. I followed those instructions and it is working like a charm. I couldn’t have asked for better heavy duty outdoor tape. I was very hesitant at first, but glad I decided to make this inexpensive purchase. I’m happy all the way around. It’s only been about two weeks and still holding strong. The only thing I would say is that it’s not easy to remove, but that’s the reason why I purchased this tape. I don’t want it to be easy to remove. It works great and as intended.

I used this tape to put a camera in a temporary spot to watch a duck that nested outside of our front door. I didn't want to drill into the soffit and when the duck leaves, I won't need the camera where it is. So, I used this tape. I purchased another camera for by our pool and am unsure about the position and drilling into the lanai covering. I used this tape there too. On the lanai, it adhered really well and has not moved. On the soffit, it began to fall away after about a week. I just don't think it adhered well enough with the holes in the soffit. It was easy to remove the tape though from the soffit and from the camera base. I am so happy with how it is holding on the lanai, I might not ever use screws to adhere it and just keep the tape. Excellent product.

This has a chance to move into solid 5-star territory, but it will need some time in the Florida weather to make the grade.I needed something aggressive to realize my Halloween display for this year (a "Dead Thing Driveway", featuring a skeleton animal control on one side chasing Dead Things and a skeleton Pied Piper on the other side attracting them).Considering all the loose parts, I had to either go with tying them on with monofilament (fishing) line or some form of double-backed tape. (You knew I'd get to the point in this review eventually).This stuff is impressive. It grips like iron and SEEMS to stick effectively to all surfaces. In the following picture, I've used it on the animal control hat and on the Pied Piper shoes. So far, so good, but they'll be heading outdoors soon. If the tape sustains through Halloween, I'll bop back on here and raise this review to a full 5'er.One item though - you surely do need fingernails. I had the unfortunate confluence of receiving this the day after I had neatly trimmed my nails (hey, even guys need to tidy up every now and then). I had the devil of a time (yes, pun intended) trying to pull off the little green paper for the second side. Two weeks later, no real issue.

This tape is definitely a lifesaver for anyone who needs to mount something outside or on old brick or concrete. I’ve been looking for months to find a multi-purpose double-sided tape that could work on old brick in my new place without falling off eventually and I finally found it! Please do note, that you should definitely not remove the red outer tab until you have your object secure as it is external I sticky and will be hard to pull off. This tape is extremely sensitive to touch and will not budge easily once placed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product as a 10 out of 10. (The image above is what I mounted onto my old brick wall and it is not moving whatsoever.) I will definitely be placing future orders for more tape to hang up other items. Thank you Scotch brand!

We used this to adhere 14.8 ounce solar lights onto concrete walls around our yards. These have stuck though extreme heat over 100+ summer degrees, direct sunlight, downpours during monsoon with dusty high wind blasts, and finally 30 degree freezes over through this winter. I feel pretty safe saying this tape works great. Not one of the 12 lights has ever come loose.

Easy to use and was terric for D3 months...then the fixture fell down...first and last time I'll purchase

This stuff is amazing. I used it to attach a motion detecting light to my stucco. We have had heat, rain and wind and still it is firm. I had to move it once and it was tight but could be released to move.

La cita funciona pega muy bien. Yo la probé pegando muñecos de fieltro en la pared y sin problema quedan adheridos solo debemos tener cuidado al despegar porque se puede desprender la pintura. A mi parecer es poca cita para el costo sin embargo, con pedazos pequeños de cita puedes pegar lo que necesitas (todo dependerá del peso)

Bought this to adhere my Ring Doorbell to my brick portico (didn't want to drill into my brick). I was concerned that it might not survive the harsh Canadian winters, but so far so good! The temps went down to -20C with a windchill of -30C and the doorbell is still firmly attached to the brick. I bought this product months ago but wanted to really put it to the test to see if it would work in harsh climates. Around November or so, I noticed it was looking a bit loose, so I pressed it against the wall and haven't had an issue since. Seems to work as advertised, so this is great for outdoor use.

I am using this product to mount RC car ESCs and switches to the chassis - plastic to plastic. The bond strength is very good, keeping mounted items secure, but making it possible to remove them if necessary. It's reasonably easy to peel off the covering that is on one sticky side - just try each corner, and you'll find at least one of them gives you enough to grab by hand to peel the rest off.

This 3M Scotch Outdoor mounting tape is a rugged, weather resistant version of 3M's VHB double face tape.The tape is 1 inch wide and has a thin foam centre with VHB acrylic adhesive on each side. It can be used on porous or non-porous surfaces and works best when the surface is smooth and flat.I've used this tape inside and outside my house with good results. It holds on glass, fiberglass, plastic, tile, wood, stone, vinyl siding and metal. I recently used this tape to fasten an address sign to the vinyl siding on the outside of my house. It has withstood temperatures from -47ºC up to 35ºC, snow, wind and rain and still stays sticking. I used this tape to mount a controller in my steam shower on smooth tile. The temperature in the steam shower goes up to 130ºF and the tape holds despite the hot temperatures, water and moisture.The key to using this tape and getting good adhesion is to make sure booth surfaces are clean and dry before applying. The temperature when installing needs to be between 10ºC - 37ºC. The backing tape can be difficult to remove so a long fingernail or knife blade comes in handy.You can used this tape indoors or outside. Keep in mind the bond is very strong so damage can occur if mounting on drywall or painted surfaces.If you do need to remove this tape the easiest way is to use a thin exacto knife or similar and cut the thin foam layer then twist. The tape residue will clean up with WD 40 or GooGone.••• Recommendation •••I love this tape and have been using it for years. It works best on SMOOTH, Non porous surfaces. The pricing of this tape seems to vary greatly. At the time of purchase I paid $7.29 for a 5 ft roll which is a good deal. At the time of my review the price shot up to $17.90 for the same 5 ft roll. I did find another listing for 2-rolls for only $21.33 which is a better deal (ASIN B07N9HZQXP). Amazon also sells this in a 450 inch (37.5 ft) MEGA Roll for only $28.68 (ASIN B001KC08ZE). The Mega Roll is the best value and chances are once you start using this tape, you'll find dozens of other applications for it and will want to buy more.I would highly recommend this tape and suggest considering the Mega Roll.

Hace dos meses que tengo sujetas 3 repisas flotantes solo con un par de tiras de cinta cada una y todo sigue perfecto, no hay señales de deterioro pero recomiendo tener cuidado con la pared, la sujeción es tan fuerte que posiblemente te lleves parte de la pintura.
