Good quality.
We purchase this every year for our redneck water slide. Holds up great.

Does its job
Bought as vapor barrier for crawl space. heavy enough to allow frequent 'traffic' (on dirt). Not sure why 'sheerness' would be considered a feature to evaluate with polyethylene sheeting; it's never clear. If you need clear, buy a different material.

6 mil thick polyethylene is translucent, similar to frosted glass.
I have ordered this 6 mil polyethylene plastic sheeting at least twice over the past several years. Clarity was not important for my applications; I only needed light colored 6 mil sheeting. I understand that as the thickness of polyethylene (PE) sheeting increases beyond 1 mil, it becomes less clear and more translucent, similar to frosted glass when it is 6 mils thick.Wikipedia explains why: Depending on thermal history and film thickness, PE can vary between almost clear (transparent), milky-opaque (translucent) and opaque. Transparency is reduced by crystallites if they are larger than the wavelength of visible light.Several reviewers were upset because the sheeting was not clear as described. I don't think it's possible to make clear 6 mil PE, but also think it would be wise for the manufacturer to label thicker PE sheeting as Translucent to properly set buyer's expectations. When used outside in locations that receive sun most of the day, the sheeting lasts about 9 months before it becomes brittle and begins to break apart. In mostly shade locations, it will last several years.

Didn’t last long
Decent thickness…. Felt pretty good… Biodegraded in two months… Don’t expect to leave it exposed to the sun

1 year review
Lasted all winter until March storm blasted everything. Not surprised it didn’t make it through that one. Still have enough left over for this winter and material looks as good as new in the roll

This is a lot of plastic..
I wanted this for my greenhouse and it is also good for covering windows. The product is very durable and able to handle the Texas climate of hot and cold. Very easy to work with.

GREAT DEAL
The plastic is really thick and the price is much lower than the ones I found at the local hardware or home improvement stores.
