Smokin Beans 2-Pound Africa Kenya Aa Freshly Roasted Coffee, Washed Processing, Medium Roast, Premium Whole Bean Specialty Coffee

Kenya AA was my favorite when home roasting several years ago. Since I stopped, I've been searching for AA that captures the sweetness and complexity. Most roasters over roast and it destroys the flavor. This AA from Smokin Beans is very flavorful and perfectly roasted. When I initially opened the bag and smelled that old familiar smell I knew I found it. They know what they're doing. Best coffee I've found online so far.

Good kenya flavor overshadowed by the inconsistent roast asked for darkest bean cinnamon roast , did not get what I asked for twice, my local guy says roast temp too high or cool down too slow, if they fixed this I would order all the time

This is just exactly as described, roasted exactly as I desired. The only difference I can tell between this Kenyan and the Kenyans costing double the price, is the lack of subtle spice and floral tones. I didnt get any hints of cinnamon, pomegranate, cranberry, tea, whatever the heck terms they use to describe the subtleties of high end beans. This has a deep chocolate flavor, which is pretty awesome. It is full throated Kenyan, with a rich flavor. I chose light roast, yielding a brown bean, with cream-colored center strip. For me, and this bean, that is pretty near perfect. Mixed with Front. Org. dry milk, it is a very good way to get things kicked off in the a.m.

First time ordering Smokin’ Beans and believe me when I tell you, it won’t be the last. The only time I’ve had a fresher bag of beans was when I lived down the street from a coffee roaster in Papua New Guinea. Ordered the Kenyan AA. Sooooo good! If there were more stars to give, I’d give them.
