Sing and Slide: The Wheels on the Bus Board book – Sound Book, November 28, 2017

This book is adorable! I cannot understand why it got bad reviews. The music button works fine--no batteries required. (Someone apparently got a defective book that didn't play the music and they had to buy batteries for it) . The music is just instrumental, so no silly singing, and far less obnoxious than the stuff coming out of most kids' toys. My granddaughter loves any book with moving parts like doors to open, buttons to push or things to slide. She will absolutely love this. Her mom sings "The wheels on the Bus" to her all the time, so this book is sure to be a hit with both of them. If I have one small criticism, it might be that the windshield wiper that slides is a little thin. I think it will probably be the first thing to break. But it can probably be taped....anyway, it's a really cute book that any toddler would love.

I purchased this book as a part of my grandson’s Christmas. The book is beautifully illustrated with great pop ups. Unfortunately, I selected this book because it also played The Wheels On the Bus music. I should say supposed to play the special music. The book we received did not work. I took the batteries out and replaced them. STILL NO MUSIC! I contacted Amazon and was sent a new book, and to my dismay, the second book played NO MUSIC! Such a disappointment!! I looked back on Amazon and read reviews of this book. Most every review addressed the music issue. Perhaps Amazon should read their reviews and remove products that prove to be unacceptable to their customers!

I purchased this Wheels on the Bus book from COSTCO and it was loved to death. So, I purchased another from this seller and it is great. Just purchased another for my youngest grandson and after the tab was pulled it wouldn't work. It sounded like the batteries were dead with the song cutting out after a few notes. Getting a replacement and fingers crossed. You'll need to buy new batteries (LR41) with all the use it will get, so I recommend buying them to have on hand.

Unfortunately this book arrived without the music part working and my baby gets really confused/frustrated that the button doesn’t do anything. Cute book but not worth the money especially since it arrived malfunctioning.

I bought this book as a gift for my grandson. He had this same book, but he and his older sister used it so much that the pages were taped so I decided to buy him a new one. He loves to play the song and make the items on the page move. It is a book you will not regret buying. It is well worth the money.

Book itself was in decent shape. I taped a couple pages as I bought it used. Disappointed that the noise making button didn’t work. We had originally bought this book brand new with the same issue, so thought a used book may work...nope! My daughter loves it regardless so I guess that’s a win!

We bought this because our grandsons book did not play the music. The battery compartment is designed wrong and the batteries fail. Ours quit almost immediately!

Book is used (didn’t notice it was a thrift store so that’s on me I guess) but it doesn’t even work. My son had this book and loved it but it got ruined so I bought this as a replacement and the music doesn’t work which is his favorite part.

Item came damaged and sound does not work, I even spent 20$ on new batteries and still doesn’t work. Very disappointed, have to pay for return shipping.

It's true, the button doesn't work. The book is great otherwise and it's nice to not be interrupted by a noisy button when I'm reading the book. My baby likes the interactive pieces. I still recommend it even if the sound doesn't work.
