Hanks Black Out LEATHER GUN BELT - 17OZ FOR CONCEALED CARRY CCW Tactical USE

I knew this belt was going to be sturdy, I actually expected it to be stiff and uncomfortable. I was wrong. When I opened it up the first thing I noticed was how supple the leather is. It is not super stiff and hard to bend like other thick leather I have seen. There is clearly no cardboard within the belt to add stiffness. While it is not stiff, it is sturdy. I immediately hung my IWB holster with gun in it and the belt didn't budge. I am happy about that. There is a solid click when the holster retention goes over the belt, which really let's you know your holster will stay put if you have to draw. Obviously functionality is there because it holds up my pants.It is real leather, and you can tell by the glorious smell. It is thick( about (1/4"), yet supple. I think it is beautiful. my wife thinks its "too bulky." It sticks out a little in the front at the buckle, but I think it will wear in a little. I am super happy with the belt, I wish I had the need for another one, but this one is guaranteed for 100 years. So it looks like this is the only belt I will ever need. I will post in 100 years for a follow up.Update: 2/7/17I haven't had this belt longer than a month and the black on the buckle is chipping off. I contacted Hank's and they obviously cover it under their warranty and are working on a solution to the issue. I am not knocking off a star because Hank's warranty covers defects like this, and they are leather workers.

Over the years I guess I have owned about every brand gun belt on the market. And to be honest I have been less than impressed with them all. So I decided to give the Hanks Tactical Belt a try. And I can honestly say I am blown away. I carry two S&W M&P.40's. One at 3 o'clock and one at SOB left hand. I also carry a double stack double mag pouch. So it's a lot of weight. Every belt I've owned previous would begin to rollover and sag under the weight in a very short time. But upon its arrival I loaded this belt up and have worn it 8 to 14 hours a day and it has held up beautifully. It is twice as thick as other belts so it doesn't rollover like lesser belts!!! It is extremely comfortable to wear and it holds my firearms snug against my body. The adjustment holes seem better placed or maybe there's more of them I haven't checked. But before my belt was overly tight or I spent the day pulling my pants up. But with the Hanks gun belt I have found I can adjust it so that it fit's perfectly!! I can honestly say I Highly Recommend this belt.It is the Gold Standard of gun belts and I will never be without one again!!!! This is a BELT!! I also own 2 of Hank's Ranger gun belts plus I bought a Hank's Ranger gun belt for my dad.I carry daily ALL DAY a full size Springfield Armory 1911 RO ELITE OPERATOR 10mm plus a full size Springfield Armory 1911 45acp plus 2 mags for each weapon . Either inside waistband concealed when out in town and outside waist band when home and working around on my property . The black no break belt keeps weapons in position does not roll and looks awesome especially with my silver western buckle on it. Replacing the black tac buckle was easy I also applied some ORANGE loctite to the screws during buckle change out. The buckle change to the western buckle takes away the tactical look which enhances the weapons concealment carry . If you carry a heavy full size firearm this is THE BELT and for smaller lighter firearms it's perfect as well. Get you one ...

This is a great belt made by an even greater company. I received my belt 18 to 20 hours ago and it was a little smaller then I'd hoped. Now here's why these guys deserve 10 stars....Its replacement is already on its way free of charge without contacting amazon. The sizing issue is purely preferential on my part for conceal and carry purposes. Hanks without hesitation shipped out the next size up. Again this hasn't even been 24 hours since receiving the belt. As for the belt its everything it should be. I have a 34 waist and ordered the 38 which fit well and feels great but I need extra holes to loosen the belt for iwb holsters and mag wells so I opted for the 40. This belt was able to hold my .45 in my paddle holster with ease. This is quality leather meant for this so it didnt flex or roll or sag down. I recommend contacting Hanks if you have specific needs as not all of us conceal and carry nor are we all shaped the same. You might wear 32 or 34 pants and still need a 40 belt like I did and Hanks will help.10 STARS!!!Great belt made by great people with great customer service

I purchased the 17OZ for Concealed Carry CCW Tactical. I wasn't sure if the size I ordered was to large so I called Hank's. After explaining the size issue, Todd (hope that was his name) told me I may need to go from a 36 to a 34-inch belt. Within 2 minutes on the phone, everything was taken care of. Todd explained a new 34 would be sent to me in a return bag along with a shipping slip. All I had to do was put the 36-inch belt in the bag and return it. No kidding, that was the best customer service I have ever received! Oh, now for the quality of the belt. Wish I had purchased this belt years ago. It feels great, supports my IWB with my G-19 as if I was not carrying. Trust me, you will not go wrong with Hank's belts. Hands down, the best belt I have every owned!
