Good looking, fragile teapot
A good looking teapot. Made of a thin borosilicate glass, its very fragile and needs careful handling - especially the infusion glass (it was broken when it arrived, had to ask for a replacement). It's a 600ml sized teapot and so, ideal for 300-400ml preparation. NOTE: If you're looking for something for single cup teapots (less than 200ml), this is not going to work well for you as the leaves in infuser wouldn't get infused properly. Also, when you're pouring the content into a cup, like any teapot, you need to place a finger to hold the lid in place from sliding away. In this case, design is such that it's a bit hard if you have small hands like mine.Pricey at Rs 850. Should have been priced around 500-600.Overall, I liked it. But if I find a better teapot, I might switch.

Nice but with some flaws
Very beautiful no doubt but it has design problems with infuserInfuser is not touching the base in case you want to fill only half glass of tea it won’t get infused other problem infuser has holes near to bottom very small it should have holes around middle all around for proper infusionIf they correct these things it will be one of the best products for Green tea lovers

Extremely elegant but very delicate
It's a beautiful product, and just perfect for gifting. It is clearly very, very well made. Even the infusion unit is perfectly made. AND it works very well too.It is, however, not a heavy-duty product. It is very delicate, and as it is meant for tea, something that is consumed frequently, I would have preferred a slightly more heavy-duty product. One has to extremely careful while using it.I have to note that when I ordered it, the delivered package had the infuser broken (a clean chip from the top). The company was prompt and very efficient in replacing the product. I did not even have to speak to anyone to ask or escalate the matter.

Don’t buy. Extremely fragile. Infuser shattered on arrival.
Infuser was shattered on arrival, even though the entire product was packed in several layers of bubble wrap. The infuser was fitted in the tea pot in the packaging. It probably got knocked around in transit. Infuser should have been packed in a separate bubble wrap. Regardless of the packaging issue, the glass seemed very fragile. Even if it hadn’t broken in transit, it seemed like it could break easily during use. I have another glass Tea Pot by Termisil that is of similar thickness but the glass is much harder. The Octavius Tea Pot seemed like I would have to be extremely careful even while setting it down on a table, else it could crack. This product is most certainly not worth the INR 1124 that I paid. I asked for a refund instead of replacement. I would advise against purchasing.

Retains stain.
I use it only to make green tea by pouring hot water. I don't even use it to boil over the gas or anywhere else, but still contrary to claims, it retains stains in places where it is harder to clean, like the nozzle.

I loved it. Sometimes tea leaves do get stuck in the sieve, but can be easily removed once they have dried up.Excellent value for money. Beautiful to look and use. Best part is you can put the entire kettle into a microwave to heat up the remaining tea.

Delicate handle that is slowly breaking off
The glass around the handle is chipping off within a month of use and makes it risky to hold the pot when filled with hot water/tea lest it breaks, leading to pot to fall & bust. It’s a beautiful looking product but doesn’t seem sturdy / practical. Be wary of buying it.
