Clay Small Pipe Elizabethan 4" Inch Smooth White, Historic Reproduction from the 17th

I have no complaints, but this is not what I needed. I wanted a full-sized tobacco pipe made from clay for sentimental reasons relating to my female ancestors. This was way too small, but otherwise perfect. I will be ordering a much larger version, as I don't think this is useful for anything other than decorative.

This is the husband (the pipe smoker). It’s much smaller than I anticipated, however it shall make a great sampling pipe or one for 5 minute smoke breaks. You can tell that these are handmade as there appear to be irregularities in the construction. However, it appears to be well-made.

Perfect for “the stump of a pipe I hold tight in my teeth.” But I won’t light it so “the smoke won’t encircle my head last a wreath”!

These little pipes were sometimes called "Elfin"/"Elven" or "Fairy" pipes. They last about five minutes or so per bowl depending on how much you puff, how heavy you draw, and so on. They can get hot like all clays. So hold the stem not the bowl. This is a nice replica but a little high priced.
