Plant Growth Regulators in Agriculture and Horticulture: Their Role and Commercial Uses 1st Edition

I chose this rating because I believe it can be applied by agriculturist around the world. I find the information revealing and of practical use or at least it may serve as a good guide in doing some field trials in various crops. I do wish the bibliography would be more updated. I know the the reference material included or cited is very good, but for a more practical approach newer sources should be cited in the book.

Great book

La mia votazione di due stelle ha come motivazione la maniera in cui è stato scritto questo libro ed il suo costo. Se guardiamo ai contenuti è sicuramente un elaborato contenente migliaia di informazioni sull'argomento (seppur non recentissime, si arriva si e no alla fine degli anni '90). Tuttavia è scritto in maniera confusa, le informazioni ci sono ma bisogna estrapolarle a fatica e la lettura risulta tutt'altro che piacevole. Per quel che riguarda il costo è decisamente eccessivo considerando che il libro non ha informazioni recenti e non ha NESSUNA fotografia. Se qualcuno si vuole affacciare al mondo dei PGRs in agricoltura consiglio di cercare testi più recenti e magari scritti meglio.
