Essential Waitrose Garibaldi Biscuits 200g

I would definitely recommend the Essential Waitrose Garibaldi Biscuits for anyone who enjoys a sweet, fruity snack. They’re a great value and taste fantastic. I’ll be buying them again!

same as i remember them as a child.these were not stale or dry or broken. well packaged

The package of cookies was wrapped solidly in bubble wrap. No broken ones. The flavor of the cookies is mild at best, but for someone who craves Sunshine Raisin Biscuits, it's as close as I've gotten so far.

The packaging was minimal. These biscuits were mostly broken. Still tasted good. But annoying that they are all broken

Occasionally I’ll get a dry batch because these are imported from the UK, but these are always worth the wait- and usually the expense. We no longer have the Sunshine raisin biscuits made here in the States, but these are lovely! After living in London, I love almost all things British- except Harry & Meghan 😂

I used to find this product in local stores but they've stopped carrying it years ago. I decided to see if it was on Amazon and lo and behold there they were. An acquired taste, for sure.On the downside, the three brands of Garibaldi biscuits I tried (Essential, Crawford's, and Tesco) were all a bit dry and they were pricy but in spite of the cost (I spent about $30 for all 3: 9 rectangles, total, each rectangle with 5 connected cookies {so 45 - 1 inch by 2 inch cookies in all})I enjoyed the taste that I remembered but when off the shelf they were fresher and nice and chewy.These downsides are not surprising since the products are imported - they can't be expected to be fresh and cheap.I don't know why Garibaldi's are not available locally in the U.S., (perhaps they might be in bigger markets but not in my small town). In any case I've enjoyed them. My wife who was not familiar with Garibaldi's did not like them.

These biscuits were pretty close to what I remember as a kid. Not dry and crunchy like other products I have tried. Definately will order again.

Arrived in good time. Very good and would love to buy more and have them to eat all the time but they are a tat on the expensive side so every once in awhile if I have some extra money I will get some.They are really good. :-)
