Browning Strike Force Pro XD HD Trail Camera with Tree Mount & Card Reader

If you are primarily using this for color daylight photos and videos, then it is great. Excellent form factor - solid latch mechanism, open one cover to get access to everything, physical on/off switch, straightforward setup software, nice having the tiny screen to see your pictures. Multiple settings for motion detect sensitivity, very fast shooting and recovery. HOWEVER: If night pictures using the IR flash are important to you, then forget it. Most of my animals are nocturnal, and as much as I like how this thing works, the quality of the night pictures renders it unusable for me. All of these small sensor cameras will produce high ISO, grainy pictures. No way around that. UNLESS, like Browning, you decide to apply intense noise reduction to your jpeg files thinking that users would rather have smooth-looking, noise-free pictures. Maybe most users are that clueless, but not me. Removing the graininess from the pictures also removes all the detail of fur, etc. Too bad. This one is now a paperweight for me.

We have a cabin in the mountains of NE Georgia.. We have a lot of 4 legged visitors; bears, bobcats, cougar, coyote, deer opossums, raccoons, skunks, turkeys and more. Yeah, I know there aren't cougars here; OTOH, the pictures say oh yes there is.. We have Stealthcams, the less expensive model of Browning's and this one.. It is a great camera and pictures are as good or better than the others.If you really want to know what is outside at night; I recommend this camera highly. Just be certain you really want to know..

Nice & small. Just mounted to a tree so no video feedback yet, will update later. I ordered/wanted the grey scale camo unit but received the spring color...like a Hawaiian shirt in the Fall/Winter woods no idea why you'd want it so bright. I over sprayed it to tone it down. The item I ordered (the unit displayed) again was not the color phase I received. I cannot hide this without repainting. Seller should ask before randomly choosing a color to ship. There are no green leaves in the Fall/Winter

Good pic quality, battery life, but movement not detected beyond 20' daytime, a bit further on night lens.The camera bracket with this package is not an easy one to get tightened down where it will not move.. deer nuzzling the camera just checking it out will knock it out of position.

I've had this camera about 2 to 3 months and everything is working as expected! I'm shooting 20 second video at night and 1 minute video during daylight in best picture quality. I am impressed with the color and clarity. I use my camera to capture whatever comes in my back yard where I throw corn and have a salt rock. Also I have bird feeders and bird houses.

I upgraded from a less expensive Browning that I have been using for years. I am very happy with this one.

One of the best cameras on the market in my opinion.

Overall good. SD card is a bit of a hassle to get out.
