Review is not about the content of book but quality of pages. Pages of OUP are nice yellowish with clear font. My only issue is with the cover which could have been better. It feels like it will tear apart and looks cheap in quality.

It is not a book for Details of Indian Political structure but for the Ideas behind the Indian political structure, the real motives which has driven Indian Constitutional Assembly to frame such constitution.The author here tries to explain the fundamental ideas and their origins, their supporters and their opponents and how it came to a final conclusion during 3 years of framing of constitution.Once youare aware of Indian Political structure then this is the book for you to prode further into the process it's making.Wonderfully written book for Indian Constitution, the book has it's own fame and rightly so.

The media could not be loaded. Not the regular constitutional law book but if you are interested in an advanced level of learning the nitty gritty and theory of our Constitution, then definitely you should go for it! Must for LLM students.

The book is great. Gives a complete condusive political interpretation of the Indian Constitution. One of the finest commentaries on the Constitution, but Granville Austin.
