If you want a fixed look this is one to consider.FAVOURITE==========My go to hairspray is L'Oreal Elnett Normal Strength Hairspray 200ml so I compared this with the Elnett.Is it better? NoIs it as fine? NoIs it better packaged? NoBut It is better when you want a stronger hold. It's quite strong particularly if you want that strong spiky look. And it holds for ages too.DAY TO DAY==========Nopes as I think it's a little too 'fixed' for me. But when you need a more permanent look this is one to consider

Silvikrin Classic Hairspray Firm Hold, 75 mlThis is a tiny little can of hairspray that's perfect for carrying round in your handbag. I usually use Elnett hairspray, but do occasionally use other hairsprays too. This one from Wella is a classic that's been around for decades and is aimed at providing firm hold - no. 4 on a 5 point scale - and is a really strong hairspray. It's useful as a finishing spray to keep an updo in place - and it really, really keeps it in place. You can still run your fingers through your hair when freshly sprayed to style it, but not when the hairspray has dried. It isn't sticky at all and stays in place for a long time. It can be brushed out easily when you want to do so. It has a light, pleasant aroma and several different perfume ingredients have been added to the alcohol and various gasses.For sale at the time of writing this review at £1.49.

This Silvikrin Classic Firm Hold Hairspray produces exactly as it promises … a good strong hold.This is a really good value hairspray … it is cheap, the can is just the right size to slip into a pocket of purse and it gives an excellent hold on most hair styles, male or female. Its scent is not overpowering like some hairsprays that I have used in the past.This hairspray brushes out easily enough if you have given your hair just a light spray, however, if you have given your style a heavy dose of spray (sometimes needed for more intricate and elaborate hair styles) you may find that it is better to wash it out.All in all an excellent budget priced hairspray that does its job well and that I have no problem in recommending.

Hairspray is often a massive can, but the 'Silvikrin Classic Hairspray Firm Hold, 75 ml' has all the normal hold of its bigger relatives, but is far smaller. Although petite, it is not quite handbag size, unless you have a large handbag; more overnight bag. This hairspray would work well for a weekend away. The spray itself has a good hold and does not give off too powerful a chemical smell. The only real downside of buying this smallest option is that the value for money is not as good. For just a little more money you get a far larger can, but many will be happy to pay for the convenience of a smaller pack.
