Camo 034510 DeckPac 875 1-7/8 in. ProTech Coated Trimhead Deck Screws with Marksman Pro-X1 and Driver Bits

Did a 16 x 35 give or take deck with 5/4 pine decking. Lots of irregularities and ugly spots in the raw materials. You can see the screw holes if you look closely but they disappear at about 5 feet away. You can undo things if you want to reset and adjust spacing. Nice smooth walk in bare feet. Screws are pretty neat and seem to snug the deck boards to the joists without much effort. Biggest pain is starting the deck against the house. No room for the tool that close so plan on face screwing against the house and free-handing the edges of the first couple of rows.

If you are installing composite deck boards - you really need this tool. Screws disappear and board spacing is totally consistent across the deck. Helped make quick work installing the deck boards!

Expenses. But makes deck look great without signs of screws

First time I’ve used this system, and I am sold. I re-decked an area 17’ x 28’ using about 1700 screws. Each box of screws comes with 2 star drivers, and I’m still on the first one. The screws cinch the boards down tight and none of them split. Definitely buy 2 tools right away, though, or you’ll be doing all the screwing while your helpers watch!

2nd deck using camo system. 1st was new, badly warped decking during lockdown. Now we’re recycling a deck we removed for a friend. Camo system makes staining, sanding, going barefoot a breeze. A baby could crawl on my newer stained deck. So easy to align perfectly. Very quick install.
