This is a good starter set for beginners/kids however I found later these exact same magic tricks being sold at the dollar tree. The dollar tree sells exact same one in small boxes (each box containing 3 or 4 items) so seeing that this whole set can be bought for 5 dollars or less at dollar tree just look around first.

My 6 yo son has been obsessed with magic since he was brought onstage at a Reza show that we went to. I bought this for him to put on a magic show for his friends and family this Christmas. He was so excited when we opened the box and there were a few tricks that were very easy to do so that he could start with them right away. The props aren’t the highest quality, but it is perfect for a child that is just starting to show interest in the art. My son absolutely loves this kit and we’re pretty happy with it too. My son thinks he’s going to be the next Reza now!

Great product! It arrived on time and was exactly what my 10 yr old son was looking for. The Magic tricks are fun and easy to use for his age. I would buy it again.

Although my grandson is currently in Germany, so I couldn't see personally how much he loved the gift, his mom is most kind to say that he loved the gift, and the introduction to magic. She was impressed with the range of tricks so that he can start with the easier ones and later grow into the more sophisticated tricks. He just turned 7, and apparently the magic set is appropriate for his age.

My 5 year old son has not put this down since Christmas morning! He's pretty advanced for his age and loves entertaining! He began his interest in magic when my husband would do silly tricks with him and then explain them all in detail so that my son can repeat them. He has been asking for magic tricks and this was the first kit we got, which he opened Christmas morning. He has mastered all of the tricks and now he's working on adding in the entertainment/performance aspect. It's hilarious and so magical seeing him so passionate about something! This set was an excellent start for a kid with his determination, curiosity, and entertaining personality. It's simple to understand and I couldn't believe how quickly it came when I ordered so close to Christmas! I had it within two days and i think it was delivered on the 23rd! I can't wait to buy more, I'm hoping this seller carries them!

Seems to be a good set. Direction's are a little hard to follow for my 8yr old. So im the one reading all the tricks then trying to teach him. Very time consuming but seems decent so far. Still working on are second trick. Overall it does seem like a good starter set. Just keep in mind you will probably be learning the tricks as well if you have a younger person doing them.

I got it as a Christmas gift for my son, 8 years old. He liked it and was able to do a couple of them . he had some hard time going through the instructions for the other tricks, which are being printed in a small piece of paper and not that easy to understand by his age.

The pieces are all plastic and cheap, not quite worth what I spend on it. It looks like something you would get from the dollar store. However, my son has had a blast learning the tricks, which makes it worth it. It comes with a book of directions for how to do each trick, but any kid younger than about 8 will need a lot of help with reading.
