Better than making a DIY stand
Good sturdy cast iron base with smartly designed product made operating my angle grinder for cross cutting a one hand operationit really increase the safety level so now you can focus all your energy on accuracythe adjustments features are really goodbest for diy usealso if you are thinking of making your own stand better go for this one insted as the combined cost for making a same kind of stand would be much higher and time consuming

Good quality but with Engineering Flaw
I found the quality of this product very satisfying . First the good points.Pros : The cast iron base feels very sturdyn and heavy and good finish. Clean cuts with nice bottm pads supplied. The powder coated red finish is my favourite and one of the reasons of my prefering this over others. They have provided different sized bolts for various sized angle grinders. I used my Dewalt DW-810 ( 100mm ) angle grinder with this stand and it fitted pretty well. Someone answered that this stand doesnt fit 100 mm , but it does and very well .Now the cons ,This has an engineering flaw. The mouting holes in the cast iron base where it meets the stand the body doesnt alilgn well . When the body fits in the center slot of cast iron for its to and fro movement , the Right hole is out of alignment resulting in improper cut and improper sitting of the body on cast iron base. Also , the holes are not permitting the sufficient movement of the assembly with grinder and blade towards the slot in the cast iron.I decided to keep this stand and not return it as I found the quality and color very nice.Required some engineering to make 4 holes , 2 before and 2 after oroginal holes to permit more movement of the assembly towards the slot . ....and it worked. .....The attached photos have their individual description .Over-all , if holes can be managed , I recommend this product. I hope KPT corrects this error soon .

Insufficient accuracy due to lazy engineering.
The holding studs anchor the angle grinder to the stand. The two spacing studs are supposed to prevent any left-right sway. However the grinder does drift as the spacing studs are inadequate for holding the grinder in a single plane. The result is a cross cut with an inaccuracy of 1mm over a vertical length of 20mm. Lazy engineering this is.To prevent this inaccuracy one has to hold the top (black) part of the grinder pressing tightly to the top spacing stud while cutting. This improves the cut accuracy tremendously and shows less than .1mm error over 20mm. I will have to fabricate a better anchoring method. With a 4" cutting wheel the travel restricts the maximum cut to 20mm. Therefore one cannot cut larger profiles in a single operation, as the grinder head will hit the top of the piece. One of the rubber foots underneath the base was missing on delivery, resulting in instability. I had to stick a piece of rubber to make the gadget operational. The clamp for holding the work piece has a screw underneath to attach the circular clamp part to the clamp lead screw. This is bad engineering as that screw keeps falling off after a few cuts. The clamp lead screw should have been at least 20 mm longer. After correcting for the above problems, the device works well. However the pivot on which the whole gadget operates is made of plastic ( I have not opened this part to check it it has bearings / metal clamp ) and this will wear off in a few months of regular use, at which point it will become unusable.

Not useful
45 degree angle is not perfect difference is more than 4 degree, settings are more complicated. no provisions for vertical settings. there should be provisions for right angle (vertical and horizontal) setting should be available. due clist setting this product is not that much useful.

Good one but costly and made in China :(
Good accessory for angle grinder. Safe to operate than holding angle grinder in the hand. But this is not made in India, made in China and paid more than competitive products listed here

Good and robust equipment.
Machine is good. Cast iron base is sturdy and stable. Plastic knob for clamping job is delicate. In the piece supplied, it was broken. Better packing is needed.
