Works but nowhere near as good as the one we got from the local Mall for a similar price
It works and does most things that youut it's expensive for what it is.'d expect from a stunt car but it's expensive for what it is.Pros,lights, twisting stunts RC operation all work wellCan turn the annoying music off, and car has remote off on the hand-heldCons:No charger port on the car so you have to dismantle the car eah time you want to recharge it.Doesn't come with batteries for the remote and the car isn't pre-charged so doesn't work out of the box if its a giftDoesn't have a demo mode and on-off switch isn't as easy to access as the one we purchased at the mallExpensive, we got one with a charger port, RC batteries, and demo modes from a Mall in San Jose for $20 - would expect this to be quite a bit lessOverall was disappointed because we gave it as a gift and didn't work out of the box and no recharging port on the car makes it fiddly to use.

Does what it needed
We have a Blue Heeler - Needs her "car" to play with every morning before we go to work. This will be her 4th in 3 years.This one is a little smaller (that's OK)And requires AA batteries instead of rechargable (that's OK)But you can not turn the sound off and we've not had time to open the thing up and cut the speaker wires.Having the dog barking and dancing and spinning in the morning is one thing the tune the car plays well that we so could do without!But she loves her car, good cardio exercise for a now 10 year old dog.

Upon arrival of the unit either the remote control was not sending the propersignal or the device was not receiving, at first I though it was something simple and I though I could fix it, Needles to say that when I started moving cables and trying to adjust the antena, before I knew it the whole car came apart and that was the end of it. Total loss of money

Fun and Durable. Pain to charge.
Bought this car as a present for my kids (3 and 6). They love it and have no problems driving around the house....when it is working.I had thought it was great that the car came with a rechargeable battery pack. Unfortunately the charge does not last very long and the battery pack must be removed (microscrew-in cover) and then plugged into a separate adapter. Takes longer to charge than to drain. Overall the charging issue takes away from the fun.The car itself is very durable, it is frequently driven into walls, down stairs, into furniture without skipping a beat. My kids managed to break the flimsy metal remote antenna within a few hours. Remote still works, just not with the same distance.Overall a fun car, but the charging issue would lead me to recommend other brands instead.
