Alpine CDE-205DAB CD/ Bluetooth Car Radio, Black

I purchased this to replace an earlier Alpine unit to provide me with BT streaming and DAB audio and I am very pleased with the upgrade. My fitter told me he had absolutely no problems installing it (it only took half-an-hour!) and the sound quality is excellent!

Sounds really good as most Alpine products. Got it for the mrs car as a gift and it makes a world of difference sound wise (without changing any speakers). It's got everything you need in a car stereo.

In all my years fitting car radios, this Alpine is simply the best! Not too fiddly to setup, nor tune into stations - also the Bluetooth capability is perfect too.. just one niggle would be a 3rd FM band so putting some extra presets on - it looks like I can upgrade the firmware too which I'll give it a go! So far so good! I'll keep you posted :) Well recommended!

Lost a star because there is no case for the removable front panel, and nobody seems to sell one deep enough. Otherwise I cannot fault it.

Alpine for years has been synonymous with quality. In a sense this continues…. I’ll be blunt, I have been fitting Alpine head units to my cars since 1997 starting with the TDA-7556R through the CDA-9813R and CDA-137BTi. Now it is at the CDA-137BTi where it started losing the hewn from stone build quality, though to be fair they also became cheaper and the actual head unit amplification produced less outright power. For sure the abilities, Spotify, FLAC, DAB radio compatibility were added and are welcome to the latest head units. But the previous head units like the 9813R really did not necessarily need add on amplification to float my boat. Enter this CDE-205DAB which was fitted to my runaround Fiat Panda…. This coupled to Focal Performance PS165-V1 front components, Focal icu130 rear coaxials, a Focal impulse 4-320 amplifier and a Rockford Fosgate P300-10 subwoofer. Obviously this system coupled with sound deadening is not going to sound bad at all and in a Fiat Panda it simply shines. Any system is only as good as each of the components in the chain and in that, the Alpine CDE-205DAB plays it’s part as I expect it to, providing a clean signal for the amplifier and speakers to give of their best…. It does this well. I do however find it a bit tight fisted of Alpine to no longer include a case for the removable face of the head unit… Certainly every other head unit from them had this included, but I guess sometimes corners get cut. So long as sonically the CDE205-DAB delivers and it does, I guess this is a small niggle…… It also includes phone call support which is also handy…. I am pleased with how the Alpine CDE205-DAB compliments my other car sound system components and am happy to recommend it

Great stereo if you are running duel amps for speakers and subwoofer, could do with some more sound quality functions. But overall great stereo. Also does not come with dab antenna which is another £40

Great sound quality, easy to use, has great subwoofer control settings. Dab is great. Bluetooth connectivity is easy to use.

Ich kenne Alpine Audio noch zu DM Zeiten wo die Geräte ein motorisches Display hatten und locker 2000DM gekostet haben. Heute gibt es das ganze um einiges günstiger. Nachteil, es ist keine Fernbedienung und leider auch kein Schutzcase für das Bedienteil mehr im Lieferumfang dabei als im Vergleich zu früher.Das Radio hat einen sehr guten Empfang von UKW. Ich nutze noch kein DAB. Der Einbau ist nicht sonderlich schwer wenn man sich etwas mit der Materie auskennt. Das mitgelieferte Mikrofon hat auch einen sehr guten Klang was mir durch die angerufenen Personen bestätigt wurde. Der Klang allgemein ist sehr gut wenn man sich mit den Einstellungen beschäftigt. Bei USB sind allerdings die Lieder wahllos durcheinander. Er gibt diese nicht nach Anfangsbuchstaben sortiert wieder. Warum muss ich noch raus finden. Bei alteren Alpine Radios konnte man in das Untermenü von dem Ordner gehen und die Titel der Reihe nach abspielen. Auch konnte man bei der Titelsuche immer nach den Anfangsbuchstaben suchen also A, B, C und so weiter und dann die jeweiligen Titel dann sich wiedergeben lassen unter dem Buchstaben. Das macht das 205er nicht mehr, da es auch bei der Suche immer 9 Titel überspringt was anscheinend so gewollt ist.

La compramos para un Golf mk4, buscando dotar al coche de una radio con prestaciones modernas pero conservando la estética de los 90. La radio es sencilla de instalar en un coche como este gracias a la sencillez de los paneles de plástico. Es posible cambiar el color de la pantalla y los mandos por separado. El bluetooth se oye fenomenal, y el emparejamiento es sencillo. Por último, si la instalas en un VW, intercambia el cable rojo por el amarillo, ya que VW los tiene invertidos esos pines en los conectores ISO. De esa forma se desconectará sola al quitar la llave y conservará la configuración (hora, bluetooth, etc)

J'ai essayé Kenwood/JVC peu qualitatif, tombé en panne au bout de 3 jours.Suivi de Pioneer d'excellente qualité mais à l'écran illisible par défaut d'intensité lumineuse.Enfin voici cet ALPINE CDE-205 DAB qui offre une exllente connectiivité et stabilité bluetooth. Un son digne du meilleur d'Alpine et un écran très lisible.Bien sur ça reste un simple DIN donc moins convivial qu'un double DIN tactile, mais excellent. Les communications téléphoniques sont irréprochables et Spotify ou Amazon Music passent sans défaut. Le lecteur cd est très dynamique.Appareil 15 à 20€ plus cher que ses concurrents, pour l'instant, mais qui les vaut amplement.A acheter les yeux fermés

L ho scelta perché sono un nostalgico e volevo ancora il lettore cd. Per il resto ha tutte le sorgenti possibili. IlSuono potente e pulito ( si tratta sempre di audio in macchina). Presente il Bluetooth e il viva voce del telefono. Per finire il dab. Quindi che dire un ottimo prodotto ad un prezzo ragionevole. Unica pecca l impossibilità di usarla senza dare almeno il primo scatto della chiave di accensione dell auto; in altre autoradio si attiva un timer che la spegne automaticamente per evitare di scaricare la batteria. Detto questo molto soddisfatto. Se dovete istallarla su un auto già predisposta con le preste standard occorrono veramente pochi minuti. Occorre acquistare in antenna dab.
