Zodiac R0456300 Transformer Replacement for Zodiac Jandy LXi Low NOx Pool and Spa Heaters

Direct factory replacement. Worked great! I actually decided to run my heater 120v instead of the 240v. I think this will less problematic in the future. Looks slightly different than the one that came on the Jxi 400 heater. I assume this is the newer build. My first one went out after 5 years from some sort of surge event. If you are chasing something like that down on the repair. The power distributor board may be out as well, look closely for a dark mark or burned section of board. In my case, the fenwal and the main board also needed replaced. Looking at the main board be sure to check for cooked bugs or something that may have shorted. This could cause your transformer to burn up. If this is the case, you may need to replace all the boards.

The pool guy installed it and it works perfect. A heated pool for night swimming is such a luxury to me. It’s wonderful and that I could order it and have it delivered in 5 days, is perfection.

This part was defective and caused other damage to my system. Jandy had a run of bad transformers and subsequently marked all good parts with a green dot. I reached out to the seller with no response. If you need this part make sure you get the new version and avoid this seller due to poor customer service.
