Toaks Titanium 1100ml Bushcraft Pot – Bail Handle for Open Fire Cooking & Backpacking

Ultralight construction. Amazing pot for a hungry man on the trail. For ultralight use: be sure to strip the plastic bands off the handle; they come off easily with a pocketknife. The choil makes this pot a versatile, special tool for backcountry cooking over an open fire or on a stove. The lid is nothing to write home about, but you can get the mini handle to stick up if you are cooking rough and are using a stick to touch it. The pot is a little wide, so can sit on a fire well. I love the versatility and the price of this pot, plus there isn't any of the weird coatings inside the pot that can be found in others of a similar make. Sure, Toaks is a bit of a knock off of Snow Peak, but it is also slightly lighter and has the hanger, plus comes in a nifty orange padded scrunch bag with a little drawstring. It is tough enough to not dent that I don't worry when I cram it in my bag next to clothes. I also own the 750 (really just a 700), but found that after a day of hiking it isn't big enough to feed me until I'm full (180 pound male). I got this and it serves the purpose much better. Two recommendations for Toaks to improve upon this design: drill the hanger directly into the pot and avoid the rather clunky joints that stick out at the rim. Also, drill the hanger so it doesn't get in the way of sipping, say, not at a 90 degree angle to the handle. Snow Peak, you want to dominate the market? Then improve upon this design before Toaks does. When cooking over an open fire, hang this on the end of a branch, and move the pot away from the flames as it boils, depending on what you're cooking.

i have about 6 different titanium pots, if you have used the msr titan, this is the same diameter and maybe 1 inch deeper, but with a bail. with the toaks pots, you can tell they are a tad heavier metal, than all the other name brands. toaks is well built and cheap enough. you wont mind using and abusing them on a campfire.

I've tried a lot of different camp pots over the years. This is the best. Extremely lightweight, just the right size to boil enough water for a bowl of ramen and a hot tea. The lid fits nicely, and my alcohol stove, Fold-a-cup, lighter and S+P shaker for nicely inside. The handles feel solid and the bail handle is absolutely perfect when you're using this over a campfire. My only gripe is that I wish the bail handle had a detent to help it stay up.

Pricey but a very good product. We used it on the trail and liked it. It's big enough to hold a large gas canister and the tripod for the canister INSIDE the pot and still close the lid. It has a bright orange stuff bag that helps keep the lid on while it's in your pack. The handles are nice as long as you remember to fold them away from the side before heating. (Ooops!..my bad). This pot is big enough to hold and heat 32 oz. of water for a meal. That meant both I and Mrs. could have a hot meal at the same time. The only tricky part was transferring exactly 16 oz. to two separate containers for rehydrating. We figure out a workable solution for us and settled into a routing quickly. This is bulkier than many 20 oz. boiling pots but since it can serve 2 people, the overall space and bulk is less than each of us carrying one. Add in that its capacity did double duty by carrying a few smaller pieces of gear too and this is a good candidate for a couple. I dropped a star because it's pricey and there are less expensive options.

Love toaks pots , I'm so glad I purchased the 450ml cup back in 2016 . Now I've added the 750ml pot and 1100ml pot to complete my kit . I also have the toaks titanium plate got that back in 2016 also. Prices are competitive to the market , better than others and great quality ! 🤙

Awesome 1100 ml pot. I only buy pots with the scissor handles anymore. It's just the best way to go in my opinion. And having a bail handle, especially for an 1100, is excellent. Exactly what I was looking for. I had an issue with my pot, and it was past the return date for Amazon by several weeks. I contacted the company and they just sent me a new one out immediately. There's a lot of competition with the Chinese ti pots out there. Usually they're a little bit cheaper, but they're not as light and you will never get the customer service like what I just received. Awesome pot. Awesome customer service. Awesome company.

I like Toaks pots. They are good quality they weigh practically nothing. They’re easy to use easy to clean. They fit in backpacks well if you order the right size. And they’re a good value for the money.

it is good. i have a few toaks cup/pots there all great, the lids seal good, they handle fire well, the 100ml pot with bail handle is a good cooker, they clean up good after being in an open camp fire the tar and resins wash off with a scotch brite

Although this is a very light weight, and well made pot, it is NOT a 1.1 litre pot as explicitly described by the seller! it is a 0.8 litre pot. It would perhaps carry 1.1 litres if you were to fill it to the BRIM! But in reality no one is really going to do this other than to perhaps fetch water, and even then, how easy it it really to carry a pot of water filled to the absolute brim??? And if you were to try and cook/boil with it filled in such a way, as soon as it came to the boil it would be slopping liquid all over the place. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!! If you need a pot that is 1.1 litres in the practice sense, do not buy this one.

100% titanio, tengo el de 1100ml y es una auténtica pasada, lo utilizo principalmente para hervir agua y añadirla a los liofilizados. bien sea con hornillo de alcohol, gas, o sobre la leña directamente, el único pero es que si lo utilizas sobre la leña se pone negro y se le pegan trozos, cuesta bastante más de limpiar por fuera que los de aluminio/acero inox. Por dentro más de lo mismo, si cocinas luego cuesta un poco quitarlo, pero nada preocupante. La tapa todo un acierto tanto el ganchito que lleva para poder cogerla (si está hirviendo el agua dentro y no toca la tapa el agua, puedes coger la tapa sin quemarte), como los agujeros para sacar el agua sin tirar la comida, las dos asas funcionan de lujo, se enfría casi instantáneamente al quitar el agua hirviendo de dentro. Con un peso irrisorio, y además cabe dentro la bombona pequeña y mediana de primus de gas, el quemador, un mechero, y algunas bolsitas de té.
