UltiClip Slim 3.3

I bought one of these about six months ago to convert a small sheath knife into a pocket knife. I purchased a kydex after market sheath as the original was leather and added the clip. I recently purchased a second one as the original worked so well.This clip is pretty small, but they make multiple sizes. I originally purchased an XL and considering returning it, but the price is reasonable for the quality and I am sure I will use it on some other piece of gear in the future. That said the size differences are pretty drastic so make sure to get a measurement or reasonable idea of what you want. The spring inside the clip is very tight to start with, so you will want to consider that if you have smaller or weaker hands. It will break in, but potentially not before it hurts you, so keep that in mind. If giving to a spouse or as a gift you might want to open and close it a bunch and I would use a screwdriver instead of a finger to get it broken in. Additionally, depending on how you attach the clip (it comes with screws), you will have to check and make sure it does not “wiggle” free with use. You could always put some Locktight on the screws if you have an issue with that, but I wouldn’t count on getting the screws out ever again without stripping them. They are average quality at best and probably won’t take the abuse of being removed.Overall these are great add ons for a wide variety of gear and they hold up really well.

5 stars, but 2 things first.1, the seller should ship with a better speed. USPS bounced my package around the state twice and I got it 2 weeks after ordering. Both the seller and USPS fault.2, I knew 10x retention, but it took a bit to get used to how hard the clip was to open and close so it's not too easy to install and use, but the positive here is it isn't going anywhere. Just make sure you don't have long or weak nailsNow the good, I love how slim it is and how great it works. It holds tightly to my pocket or inner waistband/belt and is so slim that the fit for my knife is so low profile I can't even see or feel I'm wearing it.I tested against several of my kydex sheaths and it fits everything good except cold steel secure-ex sheaths which just have a slightly different eye pattern on them. This thing looks like it's built to last and I'm extremely satisfied with it overall.

They have different sizes so if you want your knife to attach to your pant and hang properly or feel just right, make sure you get the right size. Even if you get the wrong size the screw holes will still fit. It's just that you'll have an overly large heavy knife with a tiny cilp or vice versa. Next time I want to get the clip that allows Horizontal (sideways) knife carry.

Excellent product! I added to my kydex sheath for a SpeedGoat 2.0 by Montana Knife Company and it has worked like a charm. Very good retention and clips right over my waistband on my scrubs and shorts.10/10 recommend :)

Gets bent out of shape easily if you clip it to something thicker than the design can handle, but man when it clamps down, you're not losing anything!Has a religious cross on it for those who may not want that.Overall a nice piece of hardware

I’ve known about Ulticlips for a while, but had never used one. I’m an instant fan. The best pocket fixed blade clip I’ve found.

I used this to attach to my CIVIVI Orthrus sheath to my jeans under my belt for concealed carry. This clip DOES NOT come loose on its own. It is very strong and takes a good bit of grip to release it at the end of the day, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do and keep my knife secured to my hip without being noticed.

The media could not be loaded. The best retention device I have ever seen for concealed carry. Durability, and ease of installation are top tier in the 2A community. Fit like a glove even with gym shorts that why I bought two instead of the larger 1. (ulti) you can use this with almost any holster on the market or belt config. Any idea you can conceive Ulti meets that need.Many people are making their own Kydex holsters using Ulti’s so you can get creative.
