Good and Not So Good Sandblocks...
These sandblocks are beautifully carved but taking them from the shipping box and playing them immediately the sandy grains began to fall off right away. I don't think they will last very long before all of the sand grains will be gone. I don't know if this is normal with useage or if this pair is defective...???

Not an accurate photo representation of delivered product
What is pictured as the product description is not what was delivered. I received light wood (rough cut, unsanded, unfinished) blocks with very cheap sandpaper. I contacted the seller and received a refund. I was told they were going to look at their remaining inventory so hopefully they get it resolved. Seller was great to work with, it was just a shoddy product.

Poor quality and Highly disappointing!
This product is completely different then pictured. I received sand blocks that where not finished as pictured--the wood was not stained, the sand paper was low quality and the pine that the blocks were made out of weren't even sanded. This product is not worth the money and it would be better to just make your own.

Okay - should have made them myself
Price was so inexpensive I decided to buy, but once we got them I really wish I had done it myself. Cheap wood and sandpaper...not very exciting.

small and hard to use
these are a bit small, which is fine bc they're supposed to be for kids, but hard to use. there is no handle on them (duh, from pic), but this is sort of necessary I'm now realizing. I could have taken a block of wood and glued sandpaper on myself.

Dangerous Toy
These blocks were un-sanded with wood splinters down the sides of both wooden blocks. The sand paper was cheap and tore the first time I rubbed these together. You get what you pay for in this case. I should have made these myself. I could have done a better job.

I would not recommend this for anyone above the age of 5 or ...
This is clearly a children's instrument. I would not recommend this for anyone above the age of 5 or 6.
