The light is very bright (a bit too focused maybe). It tightens very safely to the holder, and the holder tightens very safely to the bicycle bar (you can fix it tightly so that it doesn't move at all). Contrary to what other reviewers have written, the light stays on even after riding on bumps. I like that you can take it out of the holder and use it as a torch. I also like that it works with rechargeable batteries so that you can bring a spare one with you. I was a bit disapointed that it came with only one battery. That means I will have to purchase a spare one separately. On the whole, I am very satisfied with this product.

This light has generated quite a few comments from other bikers. Mostly, wow, what a bright light. It does require charging after my bike trips that usually last several hours. Especially the strobe light is very effective.

I've only used it once, but I was very impressed by this light. Back 10 years ago I had a dual halogen bulb headlamp with a water-bottle NiMH battery. It worked great, but it was clunky and expensive ($90 for the battery alone). This thing was very reasonably priced and has a great throw pattern. The spot is bright and great for distance and there's also a good bit of ambient light put out so you can see what you're rolling up on. All three brightness levels are useful for riding.I was concerned at first about how the handlebar clip holds the light on, but at least for now it is very firm. Riding on my road bike down my bumpy street it didn't budge. If you wanted to do an off-road night-ride you may want something different, but for road riding this is great.

Easy to charge, works great, very bright. Easy to install and fits my bike with no problems.

The mount was extremely easy to install onto my bike's handlebars. I simply placed the mount on the handle bars with the "plastic nut" connector facing the rear of the bike, I wrapped the plastic "threaded/serrated" strip around the bars and then back through the "plastic nut" connector. I pulled out any slack and then slipped on the "nut" and tightened it up fully. After a road test, I was happy with the mount location, so I used a pair of side cutters to trim off the excess threaded strap, The extra strap might cause damage if struck during a wreck.The light mount is a "U" shaped mount, into which you slide the flash light (from the tail end) to mount. Depending on the tube size of your light, you may be able to "lift" the light out through the opening, without sliding the entire unit back through the mount. The light is friction fit into the holder, If your light is much smaller than the opening, a strip of Velcro around the light and the mount can be easily added to secure the light in the opening. I tried a couple of ThorFire lights I purchased from Amazon and settled on the C8s model ( ThorFire C8s Flashlight 900 Lumens Most Powerful Led Flashlight Waterproof Lamp Torch with Hidden Strobe for Camping Hiking Hunting, Rechargeable 18650 Battery Not Included ). The light is secure in the mount and the mount is adjustable, so I was able to rotate it such that the light was not aimed into the eyes of oncoming drivers.I am extremely pleased with this mount and fully recommended it to others.

This set has a lot of positives, like various settings and brightness selections. The fact that you can easily remove the flashlight from the bike is a big plus. The only negative thing I have relates to the button on the flashlight, it rocks to all sides, but actually operates as a push button. I just think it will eventually cause problems and wear out. Just a poor design in my opinion. Otherwise, I think I'm really going to like the set.

Love that they are usb rechargeable. Very bright and very easy to hook onto bike.
