Wall Plate, Switch Plate for Smart Switches, 2 Gang Electrical Boxes, White Plastic (2 Gang)

I recently bought couple of smart light switches that could be connected to my home automation system without thinking all that much about their form factor. When I got my switches, I came to an alarming realization that those switches are meant for 1 gang boxes and I need them to cover 2 gang opening.After spending about an hour searching for an adapter to convert 2 gang box to a 1 gang box and coming in empty-handed, I was about to open up my freshly painted walls and replace those boxes.Then, I stumbled onto this wonderful product! It did exactly what I needed. Not only did it solve a problem of electrical box size conversion, it turned my smart switch on the side - which allows me to maintain the same idea of having a left switch and a right switch (as opposed to making them top and bottom). While I know the latter point is not a big deal for most, the WAF (wife acceptance factor) is nothing to ignore with these things :)This kit came with the adapter itself, 4 long white screws and 2 small screws for the light switch. Originally, I thought that I could just re-use the screws that I just took off of my old cover, but they were too short. So, screws that came in the package saved me a lot of grief. Installation was a breeze: align the holes and tighten the screws. Just be careful to not over-tighten them otherwise this adapter will break.It is also worth mentioning that this adapter is a 2 in 1. It is both a conversion kit from 2 gang box to 1 gang box and it is the gang box cover.Should I need to do this again, I will definitely be back and will recommend this product to all of my family and friends!

I will add a video when I get done installing this. But I cannot convey enough how pleased I am with the design and perfect screw hole placements for a 3 gang wall plate and mounting adapter for your glass touch screen smart switch, or outlet, whatever. The beveled edges and extra body screw receivers for the mounting screws that fasten the switch body itself to the wall plate is spot on. For my 3 gang Elinksmart light controller, this will be in a horizontal installation scenario - as the manufacturer intended. Even though my 2 gang switch controllers are installed in Vertical orientation. I am a customer for the rest of my life.

This filled a need apparently no one else has chosen to fill yet. Quality is meh. I ordered several and while they were nicely packaged for safe shipping, they were all slightly warped. They're really not attractive by any stretch of the imagination, but until others jump on the bandwagon, this is about your only choice if you have a new 2,3, or 4-gang switch with a single gang footprint. The cutout was perfect for all our 2, 3, & 4-gang switches. Cautions...make sure your switch has the rectangular guts; the round guts will not work. Also, be careful not to overtighten screws. These are plastic and easily strip where you're attaching the switch to the facing. Seller was great. We needed a 4-gang cover (not yet listedfor sale) and based on another reviewer I immediately emailed seller to ask if one was available. They sent me a 4-gang without issue and order was received very quickly.

Fits perfectly. The quality is bit lacking. Its 3d printed and so its not strong. When I tightened the screw it started to bend. It would have been better if the description says its 3d printed so that one could expect the quality accordingly. Kudos for the design.

I bought both the 2 gang and 3 gang, these plates are perfect and do exactly what they say they're going to. I've read some reviews about the 3D printing of these, and the owner has fixed those. You can't tell it's 3D printed once installed, all the print lines are on the back.General tips: Repair the drywall prior to install. As you can see in my picture the old plate left a little gouge, well I should have repaired that prior to install. Second, USE THE SCREWS THAT COME WITH THE PLATE. I used the screws that came with my new switch like an idiot, and they're too long and it broke my plate. 100% user error nothing wrong with the product and I bought a replacement because they're that good.

When I was replacing all my light switches with smart switches, the one thing that puzzled me was how I was going to deal with mounting the “functionally multi ganged/physically single gang switch”. This plate is exactly what was needed to mount the single ganged size switch in the existing triple ganged wall box. No complaints. It came with all the required screws and mounted up in minutes. My only quibble would be the relatively high cost for a plastic faceplate but since I only needed one, it was by far the least expensive solution.I don’t understand the few 1 star ratings. Perhaps the posters didn’t understand what they were buying.

As I went to install a touch plate light switch - I realized the new smart switch was even smaller than even my 1-gang switch... Not to mention a full 2 or 3 gang.Even though I'm only using this on a 1-gang, it is the perfect solution to my first world problem of having a new switch plate that is smaller than the hole cut into the wall. It might be a bit bigger than needed, but after painting and mounting it, I think it looks great. It solves the problem nicely.

Very necessary for install of these new fangled smart witches, but my one complaint is that it is a bit flimsy. Because of how tight the electrical boxes are and how this the smart switches go in it tends to want to push back and gets a bit difficult to fit it all. These plates do their job, but tough fit put a good amount of pressure on these plates and I'm not sure how long it will last. It is a very miniscule issue and will not prevent me from purchasing again, but it should be looked into by the manufacturer.
