If you were born in the late 70’s to early 80’s I’d bet my life on this & that is that this film was loved by yourself & I’d bet that you’ve passed it on to your children & grandchildren, nieces & nephews, Godchildren, it’s classic great cinema that so many people grew up on & it’s under £4, brilliant, absolutely brilliant. And although it’s on TV every Christmas Season & every now & then it still deserves a place amongst my rather small collection of some 20 DVD’s that are my favourite films of all time I have nothing else or need for anything else, now we’re talking from ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ to ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ & from ‘Se7en’ to ’Unforgiven’ , ‘Twelve Monkeys’ & ‘The Goonies’ is now rightfully in there. (nostalgia plays a massive role in me & I’d assume most people owning this classic!).
