CollectaWildlife Saola Toy Figure - Authentic Hand Painted Model

Darker color than pictured, but an amazing figure.

It is amazing to know that some people actually know about saolas, based on that there's only 6 items related to it, we need to let the world know they exist.

The details of the figurine didn't match the image shown at all. Upon further inspection, I don't believe they are even the same product. The face was poorly painted and the horns were not painted to have the spiral. The white spots on its face were faint, white lines. There was literally no effort in the paint job.On the bright side, it stands and seems durable. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re looking for a lifelike figurine. Pretty disappointed but I was able to paint over everything and make it look more "authentic.".

Parfaite représentation d'une des dernières découvertes zoologiques du 20e siècle (1992). Le saola ou pseudoryx a été découvert en 1992 dans les forêts du Vu-Quang, au Vietnam. Il était déjà connu des paléontologues qui en avaient trouvé des fossiles dans le nord de l'Inde et datant de 5 millions d'années!Il faudrait que les concepteurs et fabricants de figurines s'attachent davantage à représenter des animaux récemment découverts, de même que des mammifères disparus du Quaternaire et du Tertiaire.
