7Senses Sling Bag Crossbody Backpack Shoulder Bag - Travel Backpack Multipurpose Daypack for Men & Women

So, to begin with, a caveat: I’ve had this bag for about two weeks so can’t speak to its long-term durability. I’ll post a follow-up note down the road with information about how it’s holding up. That being said, so far it’s pretty much perfect for my needs. After years of carrying a backpack, including to work in an office, I decided to try to something a little smaller and more low-profile, and liked the look of the sling-style bags I saw in a local outdoors store. A quick check on Amazon revealed this one to be on sale for a price that’s pretty much unbeatable.Some details: it doesn’t accommodate my standard-size laptop, but I didn’t expect it to and almost never take my laptop out of the house anyway. I doubt, as well, that this bag would accommodate large textbooks. Otherwise, it holds what I need on a day-to-day basis: several notebooks, a couple of folders with files, a substantial scheduling book, and two large ziplock-style bags, one for lunch and snacks and the other for toiletries. (I sometimes bike commute to work, though I should note that I transport my clothes and shoes in a pannier. They won’t fit in this bag with my other stuff.) The two pockets are surprisingly roomy and definitely large enough for items that for me include an extra pair of glasses in their case, my clip-on sunglasses in their case, a couple of thumb drives, earbuds in their case, cell phone charger, etc. Also, the strap has a pouch that’s apparently intended to hold a cell phone. I don’t really understand why one wouldn’t just put it in one of the other pockets, but the pouch accommodates my Motorola Android phone with room to spare. However, I use it as a convenient utility pocket for a multi-tool, small flashlight, bike lock key with large keychain, etc. The water bottle holder is serviceable but not great. With some effort it fits a bottle with a slender profile (the kind that fits in a bicycle water bottle cage, for example) but definitely won’t fit, say, a large Nalgene.Finally, in terms of style, I asked my sisters and teenage niece if they would describe this bag as a “man purse” (not that there’s anything wrong with that!), and all agreed that they would not. All in all, if you don’t need the cargo capacity of a standard, two-strap backpack, this might be a perfect option.

I have been planning a trip to Munich Germany. I'm anticipating alot of walking and sightseeing around this beautiful City. So, with that in mind, I wanted a nice looking, well made type of bag to carry that would leave me handsfree. I researched backpacks large and small and other sling bags large and small. I couldn't make up my mind. I finally found the PERFECT sling bag from 7Senses.com. It's a terrific product!!! Well made, great wine/red color...very comfortable crossbody fit and size for me. First, I want to say that this seems to be a very good, well made and designed, quality product. It has all the pockets etc. that I need and bought it for. That's why I'm rating it as a 5!My issue is that it doesn't, unfortunately, work for me personally as well as I'd like, which is mostly my fault. I bought this for use as a shoulder bag to hold things for day events, and should have paid more attention to the description of its use as a backpack. I don't like backpacks, which is why I wanted a shoulder bag. I want to be able to access things while the bag is still on my shoulder, and not have to take it off. This is also my first experience with a bag of this type.I'm 6' 2" and I'd use it in front if it hung low enough, but the strap isn't long enough for it to hang as low in front as I'd like it to. Having said that, for most folks my height it will work fine as it is - I would just prefer it to sit lower. But ... I know someone who would love it, so they'll be getting a great gift.I'm very sure it will work perfectly for someone else!

I've been trying to get a comfortable, usable backpack that takes anything I throw at it for years and I have finally found it in this one. It is amazing value and very comfortable to wear even when fully loaded thanks to the padded mesh back. The main compartment can easily take my gym shoes, towel, bottle of water with room to spare. 2 helpful outside pockets for easy access to anything I get in there.They had a great idea with the spacious fanny pack located on the shoulder strap for phone, wallet, keys, etc.I have now used it on a several occasions and it has never let me down.Fully recommend it for usability, comfort, capacity and value.

Price matches the material and construction: It is not the flimsiest nor strong. Think of cordura and nylon laundry bag -this is on the nylon side and it definitely has NO abrasion resistance.The images make it look much bigger than it is. Although I can barely fit a regular notepad, it will not fit a folio case and that was the deal-breaker for me - I do not want to carry loose sheets and notepads around- Additionally, the zippered pouches looked good enough but have no "give"; their back is a flush piece of even thinner fabric so, if you fill the bag, you will not be able to add anything to those pouches.

Not for heavy packing but good for day trip or work/school bag. Fits a small laptop conveniently, has decent pocket access, water or umbrella compartment on outside, and durably made. I like it. It works. I like the snap feature vs having to extend it over my head since its usually heavy with my laptop & materials. Waterproof. Nice construction. I give it an A.
