great purchase!
This book was great, helped me for my interviews this year (so far I've had 2), the book itself gives you 151 questions that you may be asked, it covers all of the main/basic/expected questions. For the ethical style questions,it shows you how to tackle the the questions rather than simply providing the answers to them. Despite what I thought about spending £20+ on it, it certainly was worth it, my only advice is not to use the book solely by itself whilst revising for your intervews. Another great thing is that it covers other issues such as new legislations and is up to date on topics etc so it provides you with a wide range of information you need to be knowledgeable and answer perhaps some of the harder questions of the interview - again, the book alone will not guarantee success, individual research and reading around the subjects is required. Lastly, the book provides you with frameworks for answering different types of questions which you can alter/adapt to suit you. Overall, it succeeded in fulfilling my expectations and I am happy with it.

Fantastic
If you are applying to medicine this is a must have! I applied to medicine last year and was unsuccessful, which was entirely down to my interview performance and this year I bought this book and now have a place for medical school next year! I won't go as far as to say this book is the reason I got into medical school but it definitely helped. My problem was I had a lot to say but absolutely no structure to my answers so waffled about rubbish for ages without knowing what my point was, this book helps organise your thoughts and gives example answers for each question which you can tailor to your experience. There is a review on here which says the questions are too advanced and would never be asked in an interview which is complete rubbish, this book provides a wide spectrum of questions from 'why medicine?' to very specific ethical scenarios which are designed to make you think about these situations from various angles and give depth to your answers.

fab book!
It gives you balanced arguments on several key areas in ethics (euthanasia, animal testing etc) and ways to structure your answers when talking about your work experience and skills. It really helped me to improve my answers! It is more suited to a panel interview. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the fact that it could have focused more on making your answers individual :)

Fantastic for any medical interview
Far better than what I expected. Very helpful for all the medical interviews I went through. This book consists of 100 questions you may encounter in medical interviews, and, trust me, you will get those questions. I used this book for every single interview I had, and, owing to this book, all were very successful. Most importantly, reading this book gives you great confidence as you already know what they are gonna ask.How to use this book?Read through the book with high-lighters and, when the interview season comes, focus on and review what you've high-lighted. A bit of memorization might be required (just a bit).I know this book was written mainly for the UK med schools, but, considering the fact that the questions asked in any kind of medical interview are quite similar, this book will be helpful for anyone in any country who is preparing for medical interviews.Worth the price and my 5 stars!!!
