In the past, the Joystick on the cable was used to this purpose, but the biggest disadvantage of the OSD on cable is that camera settings' adjustment requires proximity to the camera, which is not always possible. The UTC controller allows to set the camera by connecting it between the cable and the video output (DVR side), thus enabling the management directly from the DVR installation point.
