The Donkey’s Tail is a species of succulent that is native to Mexico and Honduras. It is a cliff dweller. It has long, hanging stems, which grow up to 60 cm (24 inches) long, and look like a donkey’s tail, hence the name. It has fleshy leaves, which are blue-green in colour and look like jelly beans. The cultivar Burrito has shorter, more compact and smaller leaves. In summer it produces gorgeous flowers which are pink in colour. This magnificent plant will provide an interesting, eye-catching addition to any home.
