Plug and play!
Bought this for a customer’s car at work to give it a try when the dealer wanted something over $400 for this module at Nissan. It has worked very well for over 2 years, and saved them and me a lot of money. Customer was very satisfied!

Did not solve my issue
I got a n error code that specifically called for the replacement of this part on the right headlight. I installed the product and the headlight began turning in the opposite direction of the steering wheel instead of in the same direction. After hours of online research, I was able to find out that the part needed to be programmed to the car in order for it to work properly. I was eventually able to do this, and the headlight began to turn in the correct direction when the steering wheel was turned. However, after only a few minutes, I got the same error code that I had prior to swapping in the new part. Again, the code said, specifically, to replace this part. So, a lot of wasted time with no results. I have worked on cars for 30 years, and I fully understand what error codes are asking me to do. So, this is not a case where I replaced the wrong part or misunderstood what needed to be done. The product just did not work as it was supposed to.

worked on my 2008 bmw 335xi
oem one was gold wiring . this one is silver. guess thats why the oem is $300 bucks. went in easy. Just remove the tire and pull out the front well cover. you don't have to remove the bumper or even the light. its right there under the light. you do need a set of six point t heads for the three screws.Its been working for two nights now. hope it last a few years.

Came with new mounting plate and rubber gasket to seal it into the headlight housing. Fixed my adaptive headlights, work like a charm now
