Accurate

Great little thermometer
I bought this because my cakes were coming out under baked and my oven was really ancient. Using this i found that my oven temperature was off by 50 degrees. It works great, i should have bought this sooner.

Good but slow response time
It is good thermometer for oven temp measurement. It is small (2.5 ") and bit hard to read but was serving my needs. My oven temp used vary a lot in different modes due the placement of its thermostat sensor.With this I was able to see that the temp is ether too high (20-25C off) or sometime not even reaching the set temp.The main issue I saw was that the response time was high. It was taking a good 5-10 mins to attain the temp, you can see it when you take it out of oven, it takes a lot of time to cool back. The thermometer is closed at the back unlike some of the other types where it has holes behind so that it attains the temp faster. This is probably OK for normal cooking, but not if the cooking time is short.The accuracy is mentioned as +/- 12C (25F), which is not great, but I have no way of verifying that.Overall the product looks fine, but I wish it was faster.
