Easiest set up.
I decided to give this a try due to the low cost and wanting to upgrade from my Netgear router I have had for 5 years and Xfinity as my internet provider. Set up could not have been easier, you just follow the quick set up instructions and you are good to go. I have been wanting to try 5GHz for some time anyway, after set up on my computer I then set up Wifi to my Roku and phone. I have the Blast package from Comcast and my speed test have been around 25-50 mbps depending on how many were streaming, I took a reading from my laptop and it was 90-95 mbps, my phone was hitting 58-65 mbps and that is wifi speed. Now I have noticed every once in a while I have to refresh my phone especially after leaving the house then returning because sometimes I could not get on line until I refreshed it which is just a small annoyance and probably something I could tweak on my end. Other than that, streaming has been awesome whether it is Youtube, gaming or watching a sporting event with no lagging. At this price you can't go wrong.

Great Router! Strong Signals!
Placed the order on Sep 2nd, arrived at Sep 5th, very efficient shipment! Also got a 20% discount coupon for the product! Set it up, one week in. So far so good, no complaint! The coverage and the signal strength are much stronger than my original router. My room is in the further corner of my apartment, and I still got the strongest signal strength, as opposed to the weak signal provided by the previous router!

Don't purchase if you value your time WR1000 and information
This router blocked websites. I can't work with Skype. This brand new router behaves as if I have blocked specific sites - but I have not. I can't work, browse certain sites, etc. The interface is lacking. If I did not know better - I would suspect the chinese company is having fun at American's expense. Well this is being returned. lost good productivity.FYI I have several network certs and 10+ years in networking field so I know what I am talking about. Go to a name brand and save yourself time and $$.Oh, Want 24 hour service? No Problem, send them an email - the only way they will respond. Great way for these companies to grab your email - and hack it later on. Hope you did not use any email passwords similar to your routers passwords.

Great so far - UPDATE: replacing just under 2 years later
EDIT: 22 month update: after a year and a half of mostly solid use - I find myself needing to replace this router. It still works - but the lights on the front seem to be out, they never light up or flicker, and the connection drops in and out all day long. My computer will say it's connected - but it will 'freeze' on a regular basis, where nothing will work for 30 seconds or so. It happens frequently, enough to need to be replaced with something better. Lowered rating to 4 stars as it still worked for a while - just not very reliable long-term.------Just set this up yesterday in my new apartment. Instead of paying Spectrum $10 initiation and $5/month for wifi, I decided to get my own router and hook it up to their modem. I was about to spend $100+ on one of the fancy ones, when I decided to try a cheaper option...for this price, I have nothing to complain about - easy set-up, and so far performance is excellent in my 1BR apartment. My 100mbps internet service is hitting 88mbps on my iMac hooked up to this wifi router. The device looks good too, sleek. Thumbs up.

Easy to install, worth the price, works perfect!!
Great product! I love it, especially for the price!!I have had it for a few weeks now and I have not have any issues with my internet. And that's with 2 phones, 2Xboxes, 3 TVs, and a Portal running around the same time. No issues at all.Plus you can choose to connect to the 2G or 5G. The 2G is perfect for the smaller products and the 5G is perfect for the Gaming systems and 4K TV.Read the instructions first!!! You do have to go to a link and sign in to activate the router. It's not just plight and play. But it's not hard.I recommend this!

Very pleasantly surprised!!
I have been using a name brand wifi router for several years, and it recently went haywire, and all but eliminated my wifi signal. I called their tech support line, and although they were very helpful, they could not resolve the issue. That router costs about 3-4x the amount of the Cudy. I tried the Cudy because it was very inexpensive, and I needed a router, at least temporarily. I have been using the Cudy now for two months, with NO signal failure! In fact the signal strength is the same or a little better that the higher priced router that I had! Fairly easy to install as well. I have been pleasantly surprised so far, given the low price of this router!

Higher speed
My internet service provider package speed was 60 mps, the old netgear N600 was good but I think it time was up as it kept going in and out and only receiving 38 mps at the worst spot in the house, after switching it out with this router we are now getting 59 mps in that same spot.Do far so good.

Amazing for the price
I got this for my smart bulbs/plugs as having too many devices connected to my main router slowed down the whole network.First of all, this is an entry level router, and priced accordingly.Installation is pretty easy, it has two modes (WiFi Router and Range Extender -- more on this later) and I'm using this as a WiFi router. It's a pretty small router with 2 rather large antennae, 1 WAN in and 2 Ethernet out ports. Its interface (reached by going to cudy.net) is very modern, especially compared to my main router that was given by my ISP.Range is pretty good as well, it's a little bit better than my main router. In terms of speed, there is quite a lot to talk about. This router supports up to 867Mbps in 5Ghz mode; however, the WAN port is only 100Mbps. If your internet connection is slower than 100Mbps, this won't be a problem. When you use the range extender mode, you WILL get better speeds; provided your main router supports it.I disabled the 5Ghz network for this router, as I don't need it (my smart appliances only use 2.4Ghz networks)Overall, It's a very cheap solution for my problem, and I haven't had any connection issues. I would recommend this to someone who has ~50Mbps Internet connection and doesn't own a 5Ghz router.Pros:*Price*Compact form factor*Great range*Easy to use interface*5Ghz support*Range Extender modeCons:*100Mbps WAN port*2 Ethernet ports

Great dual band router!
Great overall performance, stability and built!User interface is easy to navigate! The only reason why I do not gave a 5 star review is the repeater function that does not see 5 GHz host (signal to repeat) , only 2.4ghz.

Poor Performance
I purchased this router for our daughter's dorm room, and with the help of the student tech support crew, we were able to get the unit properly installed. Unfortunately, the wi-fi signal was weak, and very hit-and-miss. My daughter took the router and her laptop over to the university's on-campus tech support dept., and despite their best efforts, she was not able to get a decent and consistent wi-fi signal. She went to a local computer store, and for roughly the same money, she purchased a router which has given her trouble free performance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this Cudy router.

Very hard to connect
I have Rogers internet connection and I bought this router with high hopes. But it was very hard to set it up. Rogers helped me set it up using their bridge modem program, and it worked fine for 5 minutes. After that I could never enter the wireless setup. I called Rogers and they couldn't help either and I had to switch back to Rogers router and returned this router.
