No Better Wrench in the World - Amazing Value - Super Comfortable - Zero Slip
These wrenches are the pride joy of my toolbox They are simply the best in the world! The hollow forged construction is light, rigid in the correct plane, and broad sides with rounded edges make them very comfortable to the hand. These wrenches have many details that make them very useful and easy to use. Besides the deep offset, which is great in tight situations some of the other design aspect include: The narrow nature of the spanner ring - great for close spaces The shape of the mating edges that so they don't round the fastener at all Lightness - make these tools less fatiguing to use Rigidity that allows you to break nut and bolts free with less effort - you can really feel the hardware I urge anyone to buy these, and they would make a great gift for any tool person They are better than Snap-On or any other brand of offset wrenches that I have tried

When you need these, nothing else will do
Work on enough engine bays, and you'll undoubtedly need a set of these. Everything is obstructed! This set of wrenches is fabulous. German steel at a fraction of the cost of Snap-On. The finish is matte and the hand grinding/shaping marks are visible but none of that affects function. In fact, I prefer the matte finish since it is easier to clean than polished chrome. Fasteners fit tightly, the length of each wrench is generous and the weight/hand feel is excellent. IMHO, this is a much better long-term option than sets made in the far east. Pay a little more, get a little more. You will have them for life.

HEADS UP - No item description and inaccurate image may leave you disappointed.
Ok - to these are in my opinion the best tools you can buy - PERIOD. Better than Snap On, Gedore, or any other brand you care to name. I have swung them all and I always come back to Stahlwille. The are light weight and impressively strong. I am a diesel mechanic and abuse tools as good as the best of them. These really hold up. With that said - Amazon are doing a good job of distancing themselves from inaccurate website descriptions (or none at all) to allow these tools to sell. Problem is you only get a $10 credit to ship them back to england. And it is going to cost you $35 or so to ship them back if you are adequately disappointed in the misleading image given. The price on Amazon is good - about as good as you will pay retail for some of the sets (but buyer beware) problem is that they do not do a good job of indicating just what you get. This set includes 6mm to 19mm only. No holder - just a basic box. But they are beautiful tools - as long as you don't need anything more than 19mm!!

Nicest Metric Set Available in the US market
These are my first set of anything from Stahlwille. I own many premium tool brands, from American made Wright, Williams and vintage Bonney, to overseas brands like PB Swiss and Vessel. I was looking for a good double box end set in metric, and these were rumored to be the best around. High quality, most complete set. I would have to agree. I'm not a professional wrench, but I do own several other recently produced wrenches to compare how this brand stacks up. I'm not at all disappointed with the quality of this set. The fit and finish are fantastic, but these are wrenches, they will probably see some dings over their remaining life. I actually prefer the matte finish of these wrenches over full chrome polish. Although if you are a fan of the Wright satin finish, these are a smoother matte finish than the texturing Wright uses on the handles. My SAE set of offset box wrenches is Bonney (full chrome polish), pretty much the gold standard I'm told. These Stahlwille feel every bit as good and I'm glad to have a metric set of the same quality. And they are actually lighter in hand due to the I-beam construction than the Bonney are. There's no doubt in my mind that these wrenches will go the distance, I'm still a young enough guy that these will see decades of service before I hang it up as a DIY-er. My son will be able to appreciate these.

German Quality: Worth Every Penny
Present for Husband: His review as follows: "Amazing quality and surface finish is superb. Wrenches are so light they feel like aluminum vs steel. Never have to worry about these breaking. The I-beam construction of the handles adds strength and decreases weight. Seeing pictures is one thing, but holding them in your hands you can truly appreciate the high quality and great craftsmanship. The grain structure of the steel is very small, indicating higher strength materials were used. Have never spent this much $$$ on wrenches before, but will be buying more Stahlwille tools in the future as funds become available. Deep offset will become handy for confined spaces. Intend to use these near term to install front suspension struts on late model VW car. Wish I had bought these years ago. Wish I could give 6-stars. Highly recommended!"

Well made set
I haven't put in any heavy use yet but so far so good. Finish is typical of German tools where they don't try win beauty contests but they feel robust.

Good value professional quality wrench set
If you are looking for mirror polished chrome plated wrenches which come in a fancy gift box, these wrenches are not for you. If you are looking for professional grade, made from quality German steel in an actual German factory, here’s your wrench set. As other reviewers have pointed out, this set of wrenches arrives in a simple cardboard box with no additional packing around the wrenches. They are industrial/professional quality tools which don’t need to be pampered. They will hold up well to daily use/abuse and you’ll still be passing them on to your grandchildren. The finish on the wrenches is a matte chrome, meaning it has a dull finish compared to the shiny chrome you’ll see on most wrenches sold in the USA. I actually prefer the matte finish as it’s easy to keep clean and it won’t cause any glare when your turning a wrench in bright sun or under a bright shop light. The wrenches feel good in the hand as they are light and well balanced. You will find imperfections on individual wrenches as they are not polished and finished as well as wrenches from Snap-On. However, you can rest assured that these wrenches will last you every bit as long and serve you just as well as a set from Snap-On and you can take your pretty wife out for a nice meal with the money you’ll save with this set. These are lifetime tools and you’ll enjoy having them. They also represent a very good “bang for the buck.” Pro quality at hardware store prices.

Best tool purchase ever
I use these Stallwille offsets as an automotive professional, and in 5+ years of abuse I'm as impressed as day 1. No clue what kind of evil German-magic-elven-steel they make these with, but I've never held wrenches with this combination of lightness and strength. Never once have I broken or felt a hint of flex from any in this set; other USA/China brands at twice the weight have proven half as strong. If I lost the entire set I'd immediately repurchase at whatever price they go for, they're just an essential tool.
