Very pleased with this product, and promptly fulfilled with Amazon Prime. As a former studio musician for a major record label, I can confirm that the quality of the recordings as presented here in this CD is just great, and just what you expect when things go really well in buying older music in a newer format.In most cases, we're hearing this now far better than we heard it on the car radio way back when, and many would argue, better than in original format in 45's or "long playing" albums, especially after multiple playings. I imagine younger people have trouble relating to the issue, but back in the day, the more you played a favorite single or album, the more the record degraded, bit by bit, with analog technology and a needle reading the grooves on the record! Anyway, why worry? One of the many advantages of living long enough to enjoy digital technology. You'll love this collection, 20 titles, including the big hits.Very talented fellow, Bobby Vinton. Charted many a hit record. In recent years, you could catch Bobby Vinton at his "Blue Velvet" theater in Branson, MO. More recently, he seems to be touring instead. This CD was what I expected - original recordings of many of Bobby Vinton's greatest hits from back in the day! I think now, just as I did many years ago, that he had the most beautiful voice of his time, and while listening, brings back so many memories of my youth! And the price for this CD was very conservative! ENJOY!

I'm in my 60's and its nice to hear songs of yesteryear. going back to the good old days, where singers were singers. not this screaming of rock n, roll.

Bobby Vinton est un crooner très plaisant et apprécié aux USA dès 1962 avec « Roses are red (my love) » (#01 US) tout comme en Grande Bretagne (#15 UK). Son succès reste principalement américain. Sa voix est remarquable, attrayante et reposante. J’ai acquis ce CD pour mieux connaître cet interprète et je ne le regrette pas. Ce Greatest hits s’arrête en 1972.Il a eu par la suite trois autres N°1 aux USA « Blue velvet » et « There ! I’ve said it again » en 1963 puis « Mr Lonely » en 1964. Il a placé quatre morceaux dans le top ten « Blue on blue » (#03 US) en 1963, « My heart belongs to only you » (#09 US) en 1964, « Please love me for ever » (#06 US) en 1967 et « I love how you love me » (#09 US) en 1968. Tous ces titres sont sur le CD et les autres morceaux ont tous été classés dans le top 40.Cette compilation « Epic » est presque complète, il manque deux hits et cinq autres distribués par d’autres compagnies. Il existait une autre compilation plus complète mais elle n'est plus distribuée. Dommage !L’écoute de ce CD offre un plaisir constant.
