LOVE STORY Sun Shade Sail Triangle 5 x 5 x 5 m Canopy Cream Outdoor Breathable UV Block Awning For Patio Garden Backyard

Needed it at short notice for a garden party we were throwing, it was during the crazy heat wave of 2018 and needed some much needed additional shade fo my sun trap of a garden.All the anchors that came with it were perfect, though I did go out and get a bloody big eyelet screw and drilled it in the house wall; using the tendion adjuster in this fixing on this anchor.Attaching the other ends via a tree with the supplied rope and to my garden shed with the karabiner and eyelet plate made a sturdy sun shade.It stood up to some pretty brutal strong winds, a few down pours which did come through the sheet and some light rains which again came through the sheet but only a little.Looked fantastic in our relatively small garden at an excellent price.I actually left it up for a few weeks during the heat wave to protect my lawn from the all day onslaught of the sun, think it did some good too.

So hot in the conservatory this summer so we decided to put up a blind, preferably with UV blocking. This was the best fit we could find and even though it doesn’t quite fully cover it makes a big difference.I think it looks pretty good, nice colour but now I may need to redecorate to match. 🤔

The fabric isn't what I expected, it's very rough and little dirt particles get stuck to it easily (not ideal for outdoors!). One of the ropes that came with the sail tore in the middle of the night, just a couple of days after we put it up. The fabric is quite thick and therefore the volume when folded up is still quite big (not ideal if you want to store it). The beige colour is really bright and when the sun is out it is actually blinding.Overall however the shade sail is ok and does the job - it provides shade.

I bought this to replace an older sail cloth which I loved. This is a plastic shade with woven plastic fibers (quite a large weave). With heavier rain it will create a fine spray straight through it.My main issue with the cloth not being sail cloth is the weight - it is much heavier than my last one.Pros:- Good strong connectors- Cords seem to hold well even in a strong wind nothing snapped- With decent angle rain will run off itCons:- Heavier than needed- Heavy rain will penetrate- Plastic, not environmentally friendly. It even states not recycled materials in the listingIf I were to buy again I would loo for a lighter cloth. However the price of this reflects the difference as this is a good price for the coverage.

Nice sail shade, not waterproof but I knew that already. Easy to install using a fixing kit, bought separately. Ropes could be tougher but so far has survived quite a bit of wind. The material seems strong and the charcoal one is a nice shade. Framing material also seem very tough. Good buy.

I live in a hot climate and installed this on my pergalo using hooks. It was easy to install, it's taught and really cools down the area and table below it. I'm sure the UVA protection is good enough. It's not waterproof but I didn't expect that. Would recommend and will be purchasing another for something else.

Nice sturdy product. Provides great shade from the sun. I expected something tacky at that price but was pleasantly surprised. It does let the water through when it rains so if you’re expecting shade and waterproof that’s not what this is. Overall I’m very satisfied with the strength, build quality and shade provided. Water resistance would be nice (we’ve covered a pergola with it).

As described. Does what we needed at a reasonable cost. Shame its not also water proof.
