I prefer the cream over the gel.
Works really well with the Royal Vibrance toner. I just wish I bought the cream instead of the gel.The reason the cream is more helpful to me for home use is it is easier to measure. I have a two once glass jar that I use to measure the exact amount. The creams comes right out to mix with the color, but the gel sticks to the sides of my little 2 once glass so it is more of a guessing game to get them exact.Maybe you can say the gel may stay on your hair better but I do not see this as true. The cream stays on my hair just as well.Otherwise this is an excellent product.
