Survived shipping to APO/FPO/DPO
First, what's not to love about Mrs. Buttersworth? It's a taste you can't duplicate, especially for those of us who live overseas and don't have access to US grocery stores (although Mapleine and a little butter extract comes close, especially if you have corn syrup to use.)The big news for us is that when we ordered this, it survived APO/FPO/DPO mail service. These are thin plastic bottles, and two of the tops got bent over in the process of shipping, but all four bottles survived. Your mileage may vary, but for us, this comfort food taste of home made it safely to us here overseas without having to first go to a friend's house to be super-packed.

As expected
What can I say, its Mrs. Butterworth's tradional pancake syrup. Nothing fancy. Its the traditional pancake syrup that has become so popular. I live in the middle of nowhere and the itty bitty local country market does not carry it. Fortunately, I can get it on Amazon. It was a little pricey but shipping was free. Items were shipped quickly, undamaged and as described. These are glass bottles but they were well packaged and had no breakage, cracks, or leakage. Very pleased with this order.

I used this ever since I was married over 43 years ago, and regardless of the fact it contains high fructose corn syrup it is tasty and great on pancake, waffle and fried mush WHEN you do not have the real maple syrup available.The order arrived timely and in great shape.As a child, my mom would clean the empty bottle and put 'starts' of ivy in the bottles and place them in the window.This worked out well....and looked nice....a great way to recycle the bottles.
