Shark Fin Grips Kydex Wraparound Grip for FN FAL

As other buyers have commented, it fits very loose around the grip. I placed a couple wide rubber bands around my grip and that seemed to take up the slack. I probably would have been ok with that but, once you install it and start using it, you come to learn its other deficiencies. The bolts provided for installation stick out enough to be a bother when holding the grip. The "fin" is also flimsy, you can't "rest" the bottom of your palm into it to make up for not wrapping your thumb around the grip. That bothered me the most. I ended up making something out of a used $3 grip instead.

i like the quality of kydex and the fact that it keeps people legal in the lame state of kommiefornia. i purchased this for a friend and he liked it a lot. however, he said that it fits a little loosely instead of nice and snug. he said it's not a big deal, as he's a casual shooter and doesn't compete or anything like that. it does what it's supposed to do.

This Shark Fin Grips Kydex Wraparound Grip did the job and it makes my rifle legal in the Peoples Socialist Republic of California. What a royal pain but you do what you have to do right.
