Masterdam Grinders 4-Piece Herb Grinders (Large 2.5 inch), Pink)

I am using this for medical reasons so, it is very important what I ingest. I was not happy when I found metal particles in the ground herb. I was very diligent in following the instructions and made sure the grinder was washed and dried properly. The fact is, I washed it twice with a soft toothbrush in hot soapy water, prior to my first use. I used it 5 times and saw particles each time and noticed that the herb would gunk up around the tines. The pollen screen is a bit dense, so barely any pollen. I am disappointed. The packaging is very professional and attractive. But, I can't take a chance with it. Also, I noticed it had a lot of burrs. The machining is not uniform. I hope you find this helpful. I am throwing my other two grinders into the trash. This thing is Nice.Had my doubts but took the risk, and it was worth it.I got the 2.5" as it can properly hold the amount I desire to prepare.Very nice build quality, smooth action, actually cuts it and leaves it fluffy.Not a ground & smashed pile of dust with this baby, No sir your getting a small pile of nicely cut/ chopped material.Not a solicited review, just got it so If she goes bad ,I will come back and let you know whats up , but I expect this to be trouble free for quite awhile.

Poor quality. After cleaning it to get rid of the initial metal shards. I kept finding them, the teeth seem to rub together creating tiny metal pieces

If you're wanting a grinder that doesn't have a brand name on the top, and instead has beautiful art. If you're wanting a grinder that is on the fine side, if you're after a good quality grinder but don't want cheap zinc or go up to $50+ grinders that do the same thing.... Look no further!Drawbacks:Aerospace grade aluminum = very light and kinda cheap feeling.Grinds so far on the fine side it could be an issue if you're vaporizer likes more coarse grinds, caveat to the convection fans!Threading while not bad, is not what I'd call buttery smoothRequires much more twisting to grind then comparable SCS grinder. We all know how expensive a good grinder is so I was a bit concerned about this purchase. Thankfully, Amazon is known for their customer reviews because that's what convinced me to purchase this. The grinder can easily be compared with some of the more well know brands that are super expensive. This thing is so well made and very easy to use. Grinds the herb up really fine, fine enough to use in a vape. This one is a no brainer, excellent grinder, excellent price!

Now, I’m not one to write reviews typically, but I wanted to give the customer service side of this company a massive shout out. I originally ordered a purple grinder. Once I received my package, I opened the box to see a gray grinder instead. I shrugged it off, a little disappointed, but figured it was only the color so I’d deal with it. I reached out to the company just to give them a heads up, and even came to realize the sticker on the packaging of the product said there was supposed to be a purple grinder inside. After exchanging a few photos and emails, the company offered to send me a purple grinder at no cost, and told me to keep the gray one as well. Super happy with my overall experience, and the grinder itself is great as well! Does exactly what you’d expect it to do, the magnetic top is great, and the purple one is especially pretty. Would definitely recommend!

Overview:Good grinder if you are a light smoker, or need a grinder for on the go adventures. I would not recommend this as a daily driver. If you'd like to know more, please read below.My Thoughts: this 2.2" grinder is great quality and shreds through "herbs" without issue. I've been using this as my daily driver for a few weeks now as a budget grinder, and overall I enjoy the grinder's size, build quality and thread quality. It is heavier than you might expect and feels nice in your hand. Below are some pros and cons.Pros: High-grade material, excellent teeth for shredding your material, size is great for on the go and easily fits in your pocket. Magnetic lid works as advertised without issue, all the threading appears to be of decent quality, and so long as you keep them clear of material by occasionally scrapping them out ( i use a pocket knife) they should stay good for a long time.cons: size, the size can limit the amount of material you can shred at the same time, pollen tray: let me be clear, it is FANTASTIC that this smaller grinder even has a pollen catcher, kief tray, whatever you want to call it. However, the way the aluminum was milled, which was in a circular pattern, it causes the included pollen scoop to flick up on the edges, this seems to happen regardless of which direction you try to scrape. Basically, because the bottom of the pollen tray is not smooth, it makes collecting the pollen very difficult and even results in sometimes losing some product due to the plastic flicking.Last con I have, and again this is nitpicking, after grinding products, it is difficult at times to remove the product without spilling.

For reference I bought the large (2.5 inch), matte green version.I've had this grinder for about 2 years, in which I used it extensively for 1 one of those years.This is a fair bit more expensive than any other grinder that I've had or even dealt with and I must say it is worth the extra price. The grinding is a lot more uniform which, if you are rolling herbs, makes the rolling a lot easier.It does have seperated layers one of which is a filter that seperates dust particles at the bottom. The edges of the bottom layer are curved and it comes with a little tool, which makes the collection of the dust extremely easy.Cleaning the grinder is not very easy though, especially the filter has a lot of particles stuck in it. It could probably be brushed out with a bit of warm soap water though if you wanted to do a full cleaning.It comes with a little black pouch which is a really nice quality. It doesn't really protect it as it is quite thin, but for presentation it is really cool.Overall this is a really good grinder. There are obviously better grinders on the market, but they seem to be way more expensive for only a slight improvement over this. This however is a massive improvement over the cheap ones that most people use for only a small step up in price.In conclusion this is well worth buying and I have been very happy about mine and I will most likely pass it on to a friend whenever I stop using it, as it seems it will last for a long time.

Absolutely love this grinder ordered Tuesday got it the next day, never expect much with grinders that you get online without really knowing what to expect or anything about what the product really looks & preforms like but I must say I've had A LOT of grinders almost every different kind and design but this by far beats them all hands down, it grinds your hmm let's say...herb perfectly, looks visually amazing & the overall design and it's features all together, makes the world of difference in the quality of the grind! You can tell there's been a lot of care and thought gone into the design of it and the overall product so hands down amazing & I love it so one.very happy customer 🙂

Been looking for a good grinder for a while now. This is definitely one of the best i have come across so far for the price. Built really well everything feels premium. The pollen collector works really well also which is something I've had issues with in past grinders. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect, this was a gift for a mate of mine based on another purchase of a Masterdam Grinder bought earlier this year.Won't be wasting time on the cheaper grinders anymore, this is a bit more expensive but a hell of a lot betterI'll be back for sure if these ever give out, I won't hold my breath.

The grinder is great apart from a piece of metal from the machine process sticking out of the second part. Catching on my finger as I grind and its sharp! Also I did not get the kief scoop either which is disappointing

This is the second time I've bought a Masterdam grinder and once again it has come without a Crystal scraper. I'm not sure if it's supposed to come with one but it should be made more clear on the product details. Other than that, it's a really great product.

amazing grinder the threads are nice and deep just spins on and off unlike the cheap ones. nice sharp teeth and holds a large amount of herb. and to add it comes in a amazing package with a bag to hold the grinder and a little scoop

Think this is genuinely the best grinder I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few. The larger size I find grinds up a bit too clumpy as the holes are larger but that’s just my preference but yes this grinder is fantastic!

Excellent grinder, absolutely tears through the stickiest bud in seconds with very little effort. This grinder is absolutely massive and can grind through about 3gs in one go and the screen is brilliant, letting a great consistency of kief through

This is the best grinder I've ever had! Easy to clean and very good at what it's designed for...Grinding. Me my brother and my close mate all bought one, so now the people we know all want it too! This isn't a peice of junk you're guna have for a few months this could last a long long time if you treat her right.Thank you Masterdam!
