My mom was coming into town and forgot her capsule filling machine for her supplements so I purchased this to keep at our residence (along with capsules sold separately). I had no idea what this contraption was, and my mom taught me something new! She's a HUGE supplement user and prefers to fill her own capsules in lieu of buying from retailers - she wants to ensure she knows exactly what goes into her body. This little device is pretty neat!

I couldn't see the directions because they were so small. Fortunately, there's plenty of youtube videos to make it easy. I love this machine, I just wish they offered one for smaller pills because I like the spill guard that comes with the set. The 00 pills are bigger than I thought and it's hard for me to swallow them. I need to find a #1 machine so my older kids will be able to swallow them.

Huge pain in the ass. The capsule caps have to be slightly bigger than the body to fit over the body because they have to fit over the capsule body. But there is NO WAY you can use it as intended and each and every cap had to be placed on 100% by hand. There wasn't even close to enough if a gap for the cap to fit over the body. Now, the tray did hold the body in place, so there's that. Almost every capsule body was upside down, so those also had to be placed by hand. It took me over an hour to place, fill, place and shut these plus the mess was unbelievable! I'm a fairly smart person, followed the directions and I do have 100 halfway filled capsules but it's way to much of a pain. I'll use paper discs from now on because screw this!

I'm normally a convenience over cost "type", but purchasing pre-made pills can get very expensive. I decided to try this machine to see if it was worth it (lots of positive reviews), and it was! Not only do I enjoy the authenticity of making my own daily supplements, but it has been saving me lots of money buying in bulk and then filling each capsule (sold separately) with the necessary ingredients. This machine makes it easy. Highly recommend.

My first attempt was just a sad mess and of course I used the messiest item for that attempt. Next 3 batches (paying closer attention to the diagrams and instructions--and I think actual photos would be better for that) worked just fine. A bit of a problem righting the upside-down caps but that's just me and my fingers. No more disgusting drinks made of chicory, greens and flax meal.

If you want to take control of your health care supplements (and the costs thereof), this is a great product! Using empty size 00 gelatin capsules or similar other product (sold separately) you can easily fill up 100 capsules at a time with powdered supplements. The "powder block" spill guard is great to keep things contained, and it's really easy to use. It's really easy to cap, and the spring mechanism makes extraction so easy! Yes, it takes some work, but the potential savings are definitely worth the hassle!

This capsule filling machine came well packaged and made with good materials. It does exactly what it says and is a good size so it does not take up too much room. I have no complains about it.

I was so excited to get this produce but the excitement quickly went away after wasting half of my product and about an hour salvaging what I could and cleaning up a huge mess. To my surprise the product is very durable and the directions are easy to follow pictures, which I followed exactly, but almost all of my caps fell out when flipping the piece over to lock the body and cap together. Then when gently pushing down most of my caps broke. Oh, and did I mention I was trying to make charcoal capsules?!?? What a mess!!! Black powder EVERYWHERE! And since the product is white it’s been a nightmare to clean, especially the tamper piece. I’m very disappointed and upset that I’ve waste my capsules and activated charcoal.
