Very good story book for
Wonderful book, my son loves books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Schefler. Good hard book, with thick paper as pages, it is robust. My son’s favourite bedtime story at the moment.

Not does only my toddler love it , I love it too!It’s one of our favourite bed time reads.The illustrations, the story , the characters all are lovely and add so much depth & imagination.Love how it’s about a giant , so the kids learn about how each human is different.How each page the problem to a solution is creatively thought about.

Very good story
It’s one of the most beautiful children’s book that I’ve bought for my 3 year old son . And the best thing is I and my husband love this story as much as he does .The story stays with you for a long time

My 3 year old liked reading it but is not a fan. I think children are just moody with what would they like at a particular age…otherwise the book is of nice quality! The story gives a very good message of kindness.

Great for pre-schoolers
It is a good book for 4-6 year olds. Good illustrations, easy to follow story, includes repetitive poetry so kids can recall it well.

Good story and beautiful illustrations
A story about being kind and generous. Bought one of Julia's book called the Detective Dog Nell at Crosswords accidently. Ever since, became an admirer of her writing and beautiful collaborations with various artists. Go for board book editions of her works as these are the books you will surely want to last longer.

Encantados con la compra! Ya tenemos más de 10 tÃtulos de esta colección (nos enganchamos con el Gruffalo y desde entonces no hemos parado de comprar tÃtulos de esta autora). Sus bonitas ilustraciones y sus textos fáciles de digerir incluso para niños no bilingües lo hacen un must-have en la estanterÃa de nuestros hijos. El precio también es muy asequible para tratarse de libros en inglés y son tÃtulos que difÃcilmente encontrarÃamos en nuestra librerÃa habitual. En cuanto al vocabulario son textos muy repetitivos y con rimas que ayudan a los niños a asimilar fácilmente el contenido gramático. En este caso la historia trata de un gigante bueno que decide cambiar de look. De camino a casa ayuda a los animales cediéndoles su ropa nueva para diferentes propósitos. Una historia con moraleja que inculca valores positivos a nuestros hijos.
