What a difference this pump made in my camper. I purchased a 5th wheel and will primarily be using it for dry camping at outdoor events. The pump that was in the RV provided adequate pressure, but not having an accumulator means it ran continuously, or nearly so, during showering or using the sink. Occasionally when running hot water it would generate terrible "water hammer" where the pump would bang the pipes and it would resonate through the entire RV. The FloJet 0284-100A fixes all those things. The water will now run for quite a bit before the pump comes on. Depending on the fixture used from 20-30 seconds of water is available before the pump even engages. The large stable base helps to isolate sound from the pump and vibration noise in the pipes is minimal. It's certainly not "silent" when it's running, but it's not intrusive either. Being able to rinse something or fill the toilet without the pump kicking on is a huge benefit, and when the water is being provided from the accumulator it's silent. The accumulator smooths out the water flow as well. There is no more surging pressure as the pump cycles on and off. The water flows smooth and steady now. The accumulator on the unit I received was white, not blue, but everything else was exactly as described. If you need different connectors than the the barbed fittings included JetFlo sell a wide variety of fittings under the "Quad Port" name. You will only need these on the intake side. The output side has a brass threaded fitting and the pump comes with a standard threaded connector and a barbed connector for the output side. The only thing not included is the hose to go between the pump and strainer if you choose to use the included strainer. If you do use the included strainer then you'll be forced to use that barbed connector, unfortunately it's not an easy to swap quad port. Keep in mind as you shop, the accumulator on this unit is 1.1 gallons. The $50 accumulators you can find to add to your existing pump are 24oz., the tank on the JetFlo has more than 5 times the capacity.

The pump was represented as having damaged packaging but no damage to the actual pump itself. The pump was damaged. The plastic cover over the electrical connections was broken. This does not affect the operation of the pump.The delivery was on time and the pump works as expected.

Worked as advertised. I was replacing the exact model due to a freeze failure.This arrived and plugged directly in with no issues whatsoever. It has performed perfectly since I purchased it.

This thing is junk. It lasted about a month and now it will not kick off unless my tanks are completely full. It worked great for a few weeks. Now its just limping along and will not even build pressure if I have less than 50 gallons in my fresh tank. I can carry 200 gallons and the pump is mounted about 6 inches above the tank.

This unit made my rv that much more enjoyable!! I now have water pressure in my rv that is as good or better than in my home. The water pump will actually cycle during a shower. I would highly recommend.

I have 2 of these. One has been in service for 7 years. Used daily.

Product came all scratched up on the tankVery frustrating & disappointing for the price of this unitWould expect that someone would have done some kind of quality control as you opened the box and the damage was clearly visible so it would be hard to believe they didn’t see that when packagingHope it works now as it just looks like it is a surface issue
